Just keep the pregnant stray in a seperate room. I am in the same situation. A pregnant cat (about 7 weeks along) was dumped on my street and I took her in, with a great dane puppy and another VERY uptight cat. I keep the two cats separated and my puppy is good with cats so I don't have to worry about that. Now my kitty is going to have her babies TODAY!
Also, DO NOT bring a new, unfamiliar cat into your home with your other pets until you have first brought her to the vet. She could be carrying many diseases that could be passed to your own house pets. My stray was given a perfect bill or health by the vet before I brought her into my home.

I brought a pregnant stray in & kept her in 1 room, which she was perfectly fine with because it made her feel safe. I made up a few birthing areas in the room, although she felt the rubbermaid tub full of my clean sheets in the closet was the best place to have the babies (how she got the lid off I'll never know - I can't get the lid off 1/2 the time). She was fine with my cats & dogs until she had the babies, after that she tolerated the cats as long as they didn't come too close & wouldn't let the dogs in the room. Once the kittens started running around she eased up alot, but she still hates the dogs. She has full run of the house now & will be fixed the second the babies are fully weaned (61 days old now, but the runt won't eat food yet).

It's very kind of you to care about a stray cat. Bring her in and if you have the space, keep her away from your pets. It would be a good idea to take her to a vet to get checked out in case she may have something wrong, that you wouldn't want in your house, you can then maybe able to adopt out the kittens when they are old enough, Good luck.

It would be nice to get her in your house and make a nice soft corner for her somewhere. Keep her in a room where she won't be much disturbed by your cat or you. Give her food and water. Good for you to help her.
See, that you wante to breed your kitten? It;s better to help this poor stray and help adopt the cats if you can manage.
