My cat was intensively vomotting over the several weeks. When we brought him to the vet, his weight was down to 5.8 from 7.5 Blood test showed that white cell count was twice the norm. He was put on antibiotic, the first day after using it, our cat stopped throwing up and gained some weight. His behavior was almost back to normal. In a week a blood test showed increase in white cell count. X-ray was not too clear, except it showed a lot of gas and possibly a foreign body. He was sent for ultrasound and they concludedhe had a tumor in his intestines. They prescibed him a stronger antibiotic and schedulled him for a biopsy and if operable, then surgery. Is it the best way to? They said we shoud hurry up. Should we do anything before all this scary stuff? Second opinion? My cat is only 7 years old. Please help. We are schedulled to bring him on Monday, August 20, 2007
