In January my cat was sneezing constantly and it got so bad that I was concerned enough to take him to the vet who diagnosed him as having kitty flu. He was put on antibiotics for 10 days. The vet said that they sometimes never get completely over the cat flu and that they would keep on sneezing. I had hoped that he would get better fast, but over the months it's stayed and while he is eating and playing and doing all the things cats do, he still has mucus coming from his nose, continues sneezing and can't breathe through his nose very well. It sounds like he has a blocked nose and when he licks himself it sounds like he is sucking on a lollipop.

I phoned the vet and she said all I could do was put him in the bathroom with the shower on so that the steam could open his nose.... I've tried that but it doesn't seem to help.

Is there anything else that I could do to make it a bit easier for him and make it better? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When you go to a dog pound, you'll be saving their life. What could be more imporant than saving a dog's life plus saving some money in the process too?

I have a dwarf puffer in a nice little filtered tank. About a week ago I noticed that some blood worms were starting to mold near the top of the tank. I thought the problem would clear itself up but now it's worse! I can't tell if my puffer has stopped eating or if it's a problem with the tank. Any suggestions? What else could I try feeding it?? (We've had it for a couple months now and this is just now happening)

So I have a 3 month old baby skunk...to get this out of the way: shes lavender/tan color, yes she's descented, has no more smell than a house cat, she is fixed, she uses a litter box.
Not legal in most states, but is here in mine...

Anyway, she has roundworms, and I got her the wormer and fed it to her... How long til the worms are expelled?

PS. Everyone who owns a ferret should really just get a skunk. They're in the same family, but skunks are actually cuddly, they play WITH you instead of just being retarded, they are bigger and can't get lost so easy, and most of all, they use a litter box and DO NOT STINK!. God ferrets reek.

Some individuals are reportedly able to leap six or more feet into the air. I am a very muscular, sturdy dog with a large, powerful head and jaws. He is very strong, but agile and light on his feet. The chest is wide and the muscular neck tapers from shoulders to head. The neck may have a slight dewlap. The head is square and broad with muscular cheeks and a furrow between the rounded eyes. The strong muzzle is shaped like a box. I am a brave and determined, but not hostile dog. Alert and self-confident, this breed genuinely loves children. It is known for its acts of heroism towards its master. These dogs have fought wild dogs, bulls and even fire. It is said "fighting off one of these dogs is like fighting an animal that possesses an alligator's head and a python's body." Yet when called off by their handler, they immediately obey. Some may be aggressive with other dogs and reserved with strangers. They need to be around people to be truly happy. This breed tends to drool and slobber.

I want a snake that doesn't get too huge and can eat frozen thawed out mice. I also want one that is good for beginners yet cheap. I would also want a snake that will not bite and that i can find at a local pet store such as PetSmart.

I just got a baby green iguana, and have him in a 30 gallon tall tank, i got him about a week ago... hes a real little guy. the tank has wood to climb, a dish full of food, and a dish full of fresh water. he has his basking light which hits above 90 depending on where he lays, and a reptisun 5.0, UVA/UVB light.

the problem is hes not eating really anything and hes getting really skinny, you can see his ribs. i attempted too even hand feed him, without success. he also sleeps all day and seems unconscious when he sleeps, he even sometimes falls off his log when hes sleeping. he only seems active when i move him outside or into the bath. he was only 10$, and i want to keep him, and i'm considering a vet, but i heard they can cost up to a couple hundred dollars, and i don't know if its worth it.

any help on what to do with this poor guy would be great.

i can also supply pictures if necessary

I know you aren't supposed to really have gravel in their tanks, but when I got him from the pet place (that specializes in aquarium pets) he had pebbles in his...so...I didn't want to change his environment. Plus, in the past, he always spit out the pebbles when he would eat. This time, he didn't. Is he as good as dead? Poor turtle.
He is acting normal so far...
