We have two 6 month old maine coon brothers. Only lately one has stopped weeing in his litter tray and weeing in the house, all over the patio, all over the bed, and carpet. Why is he doing this now? He never use to?? His brother is fine, good as gold.

my 12 year old female cat had a stoke about half a year ago, afterwards she seemed fine and has been her usal self for the past six months, however she was just on the table playfighting with her brother and she fell off the table and seemed to lay there with her back legs shaking uncontrolably making a crying noise for about 5 seconds, i had to have another female cat of mine put down a year or two ago she used to have uncontrolable fits but her whole body would shake so im a bit confused as to whether these are fits or not. my dad said shes had two this past few weeks but its only when she jumps off the dinner table her back legs seem to go and shake, is she having a mild fit? or could it be her back legs are on the way out... im going to take her to the vet but i just wanted to get some opinions and advice . thanku guys. x

He's about a year old and recently, he won't eat much. He'll just drink water and eat some treats that I give him to encourage him to eat. I'm thinking that since the weather is hot he'll just eat a little and still be full. We also have a female dachshund that is on her period(we're gonna get her spayed). Is that the problem? We also have another male dachshund but he's fine and eats everything we put in his plate. Please help.

When i'm petting my cat, she sometimes starts kicking me with her back claws and nawing on my hand. She'll go from biting me to licking my hand. She does it lightly and it doesnt break the skin, but it seems rather aggressive for her. She wants pets, cause she'll rub her head against my hand. Why is she doing this?

took one into town and the hardware store boys all say it is a pygmy rattler and can hurt you. look like little garter snakes but they are not safe and a big nest of them have hatchedd arond the barn. nobody knows a sure fire way to get them away. this move to the country is turning into hell. what next timber ratterlers and bears?

Tuesday night my cat who was 8 was vomiting up white foamy looking stuff, she died over night. She was an inside cat and hadn't been poisoned(which was my first thought). I buried her Wednesday morning. I am very upset, I got her when she was 6 weeks old and she died too young for a cat. If anyone knows what the white foamy stuff could be, could you please tell me. I don't know that there was anything I could have done to save my cat, I just have to realize that she is in a better place but if anyone has any idea about what might have happened please let me know.

I know Native Americans can legally keep certain bird feathers like an eagle's, but why is it illegal for others to have and keep the feathers of certain types of birds, even if they found them?
I don't understand nor see the harm- after all it's off the bird for good!

I'm looking for soemthing that will be:

a) Happy to stay in a cage so it doesn't poop everywhere
b) something with a nice singing voice that whistles when stimulated but not constantly all day and all night.

I want to make sure such a species exists becasue the last thing I would want is to get e bird that I am unhappy with and that is unhappy in my home.

Or let me know if no such thing exists, then I guess I'll just have to keep listening to the birds in my yard...

Thanks in advance,
DT

We've just bought a Dogue De Bordeaux (same as the dog from the Turner & Hooch film) & he's a little on the skinny side.
Now we've been feeding him his correct daily amounts, but i was wondering if there was any suppliments i could give him to boost his weight & make him look a little healthier.
I know he will slowley gain weight in time....but hey...i'm a woman & i'm impatient....lol.....

We just got this cat one month ago and unfortunately we had to go out of town shortly after we adopted him. My mom house sat for me and fed him and our other female cat. He is an indoor outdoor but my mom would not let him out during our trip so he peed all over the house. I didn't hold it against him because I thought he was upset because no one would let him out and he was in a new environment. Well since we have returned this guy pees everytime he gets mad at anything at all. Last night his food bowl was empty (during the middle of the night) and he decided he was going to pee on our bed with my husband and I in it. My other cat and him get along really well and I hate to get rid of him but I can't keep up the cleaning. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this behavior? Please help, thank you!
