MY VET WANTED TO RUN A HEARTWORM AND OTHER VARIOUS TESTS ON MY DOG FRIDAY THE 22ND. HE HAD NOT RECIEVED THE TESTS BY MAIL YET. HE SAID HE WOULD CALL WITH THE RESULTS AND I FINALLY CALLED HIM TODAY, AND HE STILL HAS NOT GOT/RAN THE TESTS. IF MY DOG HAS TO HAVE SURGERIES OR OTHER TREATMENT FROM THE RESULTS, CAN I HAVE HIM PAY THE COST DUE TO TIME DELAY?

I've three dwarf honey gouramis for two days now and they are already building bubble nests in my pennywort. I know I have at least one male, (someones buidling the nest) but would the gouramis build the nest without a female being present or is it safe to assume that at least one of them is a female?

I am a dog lover, but after having 2 of my dogs attacked by pit bulls, having to keep another pit bull from killing a dog last year, and all of the people attacked and children killed by pitbulls in the media, don't you feel they need to be outlawed?

I know if you raise a dog right, it can be a sweet animal, but their kinda like owning a machine gun, some people just can't be trusted to do the right thing. Your thoughts..

My GSD gave birth to 7 adorable little pups on friday 22nd June. All are doing really well and look like they are growing very quick. Does anyone now when you can start to bath the pups. I know mum will do it for awhile yet.

I have a "Rainbow Lifeguard Quiet One 6000" external pump that I would like to use on a new chiller for my tank. The pump is rated at a little over 1500 gallons per hour. I'm debating between a couple of chillers, one that has a max flow rate of 1300 gph and another that has a max of 960.

I know that you are only supposed to put any valves on the outflow side of the pump and lessening the flow to 1300 from 1500 doesn't seem like it would be that big of a problem, but I was curious it cutting it back to 960 would be hard on the pump in the long run.

(I'm leaning towards the bigger chiller as although it may be overkill for my tank, it would let me have a little more water circulation.)

I was told by someone several years ago that some Boxers will develop an irregular heartbeat and could die from the condition. I have since bought a Boxer, she is 2 years old. I've tried to research some diseases that Boxers are prone to but didn't find anything. If you know about this topic, could you tell me how frequent this might happen and the name of the conditon? well my dog is really skinny and she wont eat her dog food unless there is human food in it. her favorite treat out of all human food is butter. i found out when she grabbed a stick of butter of the counter and ate it all and i put butter and a hot dog on the ground to see wich one she will eat she chose the butter lol. i dont see any harm in it she needs to gain about 30 lbs anyway. so i just mix butter in with her dog food and sometimes i will put honey butter to. is it good for my dog

OK I have been wondering if I should feel bad about getting a puppy when it's only 6 weeks old? Because every time I ask a question about him someone says something like "It's illegal to have a puppy when it's 6 weeks old." People make it sound mean, like I am an irresponsible owner, which is not true. So should I feel bad for adopting a 6 week old puppy, the breeder said it was fine, but other people don't, Please give me your opinion?

My dog does not have bloody stools, but she is pooping straight, bright red blood.
Somehow she ate a coffee filter with coffee in it yesterday morning but she threw up most of the coffee filter, and no more filter has come through the stools.
Is there anything I can do to help her?
We can't get her to a vet untill friday! We have absolutely no money to spend on a vet visit.
What food should I feed her, (the vet suggested one pepto bismol tablet every 6 hours) are there any random household cures I can try?
Please help me out here, I'm really scared for my dog, she's the only friend I have and I don't know what I'd do if something happeneed to her.
