You have to use bleach or a product called Virkon S. I would also wait at least a year before introducing a puppy to an area that has been infected or is at risk. You are asking for certain death.
Parvo is known to survive almost anywhere i.e. clothing, shoes, food dishes, and cage floors - for 5 months and longer in the right conditions. Vermin such as rodents or insects may also play a part in transmission of the disease. All parvoviruses are extremely stable and are extremely resistant

I ran a rescue and have taken on around 25 to 30 parvo cases. I have only lost 2 puppies in all. But I have learned a lot when it comes to Parvo. It stays in your house and yard for up to a year. There are cleaning agents online that claim that they kill the virus, but bleach is the only way to go. I chose not to bleach and just do Parvo puppies from shelters and other rescues. Then I waited a year before letting any puppy in my house. Parvo can be devastating and sometimes when people lose a puppy to Parvo, they wait a few months and then get another, don't do this, the chances of the new puppy getting sick are huge. Parvo is a very potent virus and can survive very hot temperatures and very cold ones as well. Good luck

The only thing that has been proven to kill parvo in the enviroment is bleach. If you don't want to bleach, don't being a dog around because parvo can live a long time in the enviroment.
As for parvo in your dog, there is no way to "kill" it in the dog. There is no treatment for parvo. A vet just provides supportive treatment for the symptoms until the dog can recover from the virus. Dogs don't actually die from the parvo virus, but from the symptoms it causes.

At my vet office we use trifectant to kill most infectious things in the environment, but for parvo we still use bleach.
you dont have to let the bleach sit very long, but even after you bleach you still shouldnt have your dog in that environment for a good 36 hours after bleaching.
i think you are probably stuck with bleach.
if your dog already has parvo, good luck. its not a fun thing to deal with for you or the pet.

bleach is the only n best way..bleach your surroundings to kill parvo before it kills your dog..get your dog vaccinated against parvo before he gets infected by this virus..get him checked monthly for 3 months to test against parvo..better safe than sorry..you also have homeopathy medication available in most countries to prevent and/or cure parvo..however, parvo can never be completely removed from your dog's body..you will have to get your dog on permanent medication to avoid the spread of parvo..
again, BLEACH IS THE ONLY AND BEST WAY TO KILL PARVO!

search for disinfectant There are several brands. You have not said what you want to disinfect???? Floors, kennel, lawn???
I used Roccal-D for years. Check the descriptions carefully only a few say they KILL Parvo...many say they may help against Parvo. You can also call the company and ask questions before you purchase a disinfectant.
I haven't tried the new, cheaper disinfectants that say they kill Parvo. Your vet should have recommendations for you as well.

There are some quaternary products that will kill parvo, but you'd have to check their labels. Look for Quatsyl-D, or check out Virox. The Centres for Disease Control should have more info on this though. Check out their website.

Vaccinate your dog in the first place, then you won't have to worry about parvo. Parvo is a surefire way to kill your dog.
