NOT donuts! Never, ever donuts! Dogs must not be given anything sugary - they have no use for this kind of sugar, and it can make them diabetic.
There aren't many human foods that are OK for dogs. Plain boiled chicken and rice are fine, but do try to wean her onto a high quality dog food that she likes, there are plenty to choose from. Canned and/or dry is fine, you can add water or gravy to dry food to make it more appetising. Dog gravy is more suitable.
Carrots and apples are OK but only in small amounts, like half an apple every other day at the most for a medium to large sized dog. Oranges - not so much. You have to be careful with fruit, it only forms a very tiny part of a dog's natural diet (i.e they only eat it if food is scarce), they do fine without it and therefore it is not healthy in large amounts.
You have to be careful with what you're trying to 'fatten you dog up' with - there is good fat and bad fat. Generally the things that are bad for us are worse for dogs - like donuts and fatty foods! It should be possible to fatten a dog up on decent dog food only.
Be aware that this fussiness may well be behavioural, but before you start thinking about that get her checked by, and talk to a vet in case there is a medical reason for her fussiness.

I have a dog in Vietnam that has always been fed on people foods since he was a puppy, and she is still healthy and smart at 15 years old now.. Almost everyone in Asia only feeds human foods to dogs since there are no dog foods in there. It's a myth that dogs can't evolve and digest human foods and that meaty human foods are less healthy for dogs than dog foods. You just need to cook it right for dogs, not to add seasonings, not too much salt, fat, sugar, or flavors, basically meat, rice, potatoes, fruits and veggies are good for dogs. Dog foods can have preservatives and other ingredients that cause cancer and hurt dogs health in the long term.

Most fruits and veggies are OK to feed but will not put weight on her. Be careful of acidic fruits like oranges. Onions, grapes and raisins are also no good.
To put weight on her, feed her "satin balls". You can good it and find several different recipes. It's meat and grains mixed together and fed raw.
Just remember a dog will never starve itself, so if you keep on accommodating her by giving human food and treats all the time she will get used to it. I would suggest giving her only what you want her to eat twice a day for 15 minutes each time and if she doesn't eat, it her problem and she'll have to wait for the next meal. Sort of like kids who have to eat their dinner before they get their dessert.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

Cornell says just about anything is fair game to a dog...fat, liver and veggies are good starts...any meat is good...berries...chocolate comes with warning though...some dogs reject it....too much protein can cause hyper activity, as some dogs react to it like caffine in humans....it also can give runny stools.....just use some common sense in the amounts you use...mix in a good dry food..

Why don't you consider a raw diet? Naturally high in fat and protein, it is *the* true diet for a dog. You'll probably find that your dog is no longer picky. It is easy to do, and easy to balance, so that your dog is getting all the nutrients it needs.

Cooked chicken
Chicken and rice is a good vomiting / diarrhea diet. Not suggested for long term however as it does not contain trace elements dogs require.
Tuna or just the water from the tuna can, over her kibble.
bits of cheese or hot dogs (good for pills)
Baby carrots, pieces of apples and pears.
NO onions, grapes, raisins, or chocolate.
Have her checked for worms.

If I were you, I'd ask the vet to recommend a nutritious dietary supplement formulated for dogs, or a more caloric dog food, especially if your dog is underweight. Giving her lots of fatty people food isn't necessarily the best thing to do...it's as bad for her health as it is for yours. You can give your dog most fruits and vegetables, especially if she's willing to eat them. However, don't give her grapes, raisins or onions...they contain chemicals that are poisonous to dogs.
