See, I'm looking for fish, and I don't really want to order from online. Do you know what types of fish are most common in Pet Stores?

My dog woke up yesterday with yellow eye bugers & was acting a little sluggish (not quite himself) & now the left side of his neck, right under the jawline is very swollen (almost baseball size) and is just laying around & wont eat. I called & made an appointment at the vet for tommorrow, but i am very worried. Could it just be an infection needing antibiotics or could it be a gland issue, tumor? then i started thinking that we had KFC chicken sat night, could he have gotten ahold of a bone? he is also coughing & weezing a little. im afraid he wont last till tommorrow. we have no emergency vet within several hours from here. please help...

I got a tank off of craigs but it didn't come with anything including the lid. What can I use for a substitute????? I just want to use it to cover the tank at night so the fish don't jump out.

Are there places that I can buy lids???

he is so powerful and we live by a giant field with corn so theres alot of squirrels and birds and he killed 21 racoons. omg i no he brings them home. the farmer loves him cause he keeps corn eaters away and he has killed 37 birds 77 squirrels

I want to move back into my basement but my friends always complain about the smell from the cat boxes. I guess I have gotten use to it because i usually dont smell anything. So please, is there is anything I can do??

Oh yah just to add the basement has little air flow so chemicals would be a bad idea.

I am getting ready to adopt a greyhound. I cannot find anywhere the recommended height for the raised food dishes that they need. Can anyone tell me what they use or what the recommended height is?

I have found some that are 10" and some as big as 19" high. I just thought 10" sounded too short. Any advice? Thanks a bunch!

i bought it from a reptile anphibian and small animals breeder and i think he reffered to this product as vitmain D dust, but i keep reading sand is terrible for them but i dont think its sand, if anyone has the product also let me know. also i feed him in another container that doesn't have the stuff.

I have a baby red-eared slider in my room and it has developed a respetory infection. I cant highten the tempeture in my room because my brother complains and my parents always side with him. The turtle has a gaping mouth and bask's all day unless i come near the tank. (It always runs away with a human presence to the tank, Its only about 5 mouths old after all) Also my parents refuse to take him to a vet because its expencive and im only 13 years old and I dont have the money for a vet bill....Please help?

are cockatoo's and cockateils the same?
i'm buying a bird for the first time, so i have no experience and dont know anything about birds. all the responses ive gotten for my questions are mixed. i narrowed my list down to 5 birds. I need one that wont have a strong bite so itll be safe for kids to handle them. They have to be pretty social because all the pets i've had have been very interactive with the family. also i live in an apartment, i dont want one that is VERY loud before 9, and after 10pm, so it wont wake up the neighbors. also one that can be tamed and that likes to be around people. any helpful tips on any of the five birds would be helpful. thanks.

a couple of days ago i went outside and found my dog with his foot extremely swollen and his fur was all black as if stained with coal.I gave him a pill to take away the pain and swelling, but it only worked temporarily.I can't take him to the vet because he is very very hiper and rebellious. I was surprised he even let me take him a bath.Anyways, today i came home from school and was looking for my dog.I turned around to this little closet that we have outside and saw big puddles of blood.I was crying and screaming like crazy.he didnt want to come out of that closet, but when he came out, i saw his foot was all covered in blood.The bleeding stopped after a couple a minutes, but he had already lost a lot of blood. He was also vomiting everything i would give him. after about an hour, i gave him dog food and lots of water and he finally kept it in. About 15 mins. ago, i went outside and he got up and started bleeding again. Im desperate!! what should i do?!?! plz help!!!!!!!!!
