You can try feeding a good quality all natural food. That may help to keep it from coming back.

Look into: Innova, California Natural or Healthwise:

(there is also a link on 'where to buy' at the top)

or

Canidae:

I hope that helps a little, and hope everything goes well!

I would try feeding a holistic food, a food that doesn't contain chemicals, or preservatives. I might also consult the vet on this. I would not use any of the Hills prescription food sold at vets because they are being suid for mislabled products and tainted and contamainated products involved with menu foods and the recall. Try Organic or Holistic for sensitive stomach.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease is not a little infection that will pass. It is a chronic disease. Usually the vet will prescribe a high fiber diet and many time they will need steroid therapy long term. Wait for the biopsies and listen to your vet. If you want a second opionion, contact a veterinary internal medicine specialist.

Inflamatory bowel disease, it just means he has a little virus and the Dr. will give him meds to fight it. Good luck!
