Lately my dog has been losing hair in patches! We just recently got a puppy and she does not let him get a moments rest. Could the stress from the puppy be causing the hair loss?! Or should I be more concerned?

Should I take him to the vet?!

i tried the salt, the white spots are still visible and it makes the fins look funny
:(
i added the salt
increased the temperature
and it still wont dissapeer
they dont seem affected by it...

theyve finally come out and is slowly being more social :)


im not sure what this is..
but one of them looks as if its trying to swim sideways?
is this bad?

and what can i do to get rid of this?
i dont think its ich since they arnt scratching
unless the swimmming sideways is a way of scratching O_o;

please help!

my friend gave her when she was still 2 weeks old... then just this last june 6, 07 she died... I don't know why...
but she has been travelling with me for like 3 hours travel... our maid had once given her food with MSG...

My cat was vomitting like crazy and after I took him to the vet, my vet told me that my cat has feline leukemia.... I don't want to lose my cat ( he has lost a lot of weight this last 2 weeks and is having difficult time breathing) I was research on the web and one of the treatment I saw was using aloe vera. Can anyone tell me can I give him aloe vera juice (from fresh aloe vera) and how much to give? (he is only 1.5 yr old.... he was 4.5kg) he is very weak now, not moving too much and don't want to eat.... I am giving him cat milk (from the bottle using a medine dropper) what other thing I can give me to help him feel better/ strengthen him?

My dog is afraid of getting his nail trimmed, he will pull away, nip not bite, and hide his feet and head. Does anyone know what to do his nails are starting to get to long, please help! If you don't knoe does anyone know of an episode of Dog Whisperer where the was a dog with a nail trimming problem?
He is also a bit aggresive with men who come to the house (Only to the house) sometime when were out, when I bring him to the park he is well behaved. But at home he does not like men. Also does anyone know of a episode of Dog Whisperer of that either? Please hlep it's needed.

My dog has been well socialized since he was a puppy, was neutered young and trained in basic behaviors.... I've taken him to dog parks since I got him and he always loves it and behaves well with other dogs. One night, however, a dog ?owner let their dog loose at night and it ran over toward us and my dog bit it. Ever since that night, my dog goes crazy growling and barking at this dog whenever he sees it. I no longer really trust my dog around strange dogs, but i was wondering if you all think this was a one time thing ...or if he may act like this again...? and is there anything I can do about this considering he only acts like that around this one dog

there is a cat that has been hanging around that has large patches of fur missing and there is places where other fur has begun growing back. i am concerned for my mother cat and her kittens that are outside around this cat.

Where can I leave my pictus catfish where it can stay in a salt bath for ten days without my cat touching it? If I leave it in the small aquarium I think it will stress and how much salt do I use? I'm a begginer sort of speaking and don't know what to do with ich and aquarium salt!!! *sob*

Two weeks ago, all three fish were swimming around, happy as can be. But lately, they have seemed lethargic. I talked to some people at a petstore and they told me to only clean 25% of their water every week and a half because they like dirty water. I find this hard to believe, so I still do a complete water change once a week.
I'm very worried that they are all sick for some reason though. Usually they blow nice bubble nests, and this week they haven't.
I also did some research on food, as I have been feeding them solely freeze dried blood worms, but found out this was a no-no, so I feed two of them betta bites and just one the blood worms because he refuses to eat anything else.
Please help me, I have no idea what it could be and why all three of them are sick (possibly) at the same time.

I have a fiberglass / plastic mixed made Pot and using it as a fish / water garden tank. Now, it has a tiny hole and causing it to leak. What is the best way to fix the hole without causing any harm to the ecosystem of the fish / plant pot? Please give in much deal as possible.

ok, i have a ten gallon aquarium, and i would like to get some fish tomorrow, and i would like to know when to get a plectostomus for it(im gonna get a dwarf one)so....n e suggestions on tropical fish would be great, along with the number of each please!
ps-no tetras, bettas, mollies, platies, or guppy suggestions since i have all of those already!

I've just read a website on ich and I looked at my fish carefully finding it has white dots on it. I've searched and read on ich so far and the only signs that it has ich is about ten white dots that are on its skin and fins. Another sign is that it is hovering near the filters water letting out part. It's not like it rubs and I dont know what to do. I have a big bucket but only a small aquarium for my pictus catfish that has a bubbler i could put in the bucket. Should I do a salt treatment for ten days? Or is it not ich?

My pictus catfish has a few white dots on it which it looks like ich but yet it dosent icth or rub, it acts like it is suppose to. Does it have ich? It looks like the dots have been multiplying and my other fish (black kuhli loach, dwarf gourmai male) have not been infected by this stuff. Is it ich or not because I have a book on disease yet I don't really understand.

just for the record, they will not be a "breeding pair" we would just like to avoid the fight for male dominance as we already have a head hauncho here, and our neighbors have 2 male dogs. thanks for your input! :)

I am purchasing a Great Dane puppy this week and I never teach my animals to be violent and its coming from a socializing breeder. I have been reading though that Great Danes are banned from some states. Why is this? I have heard nothing but good things about them.
