It is a perfectly normal, albeit disgusting, thing for a dog to eat poop. In the wild they would do this for two reasons, because their digestive tracts are not !00% eefficient and many nutrients remain in their waste, and to help shake predators off their trail. Your vet can recommend a powder to be mixed with their food that will make their poop taste bad(hello, like it tastes good now?).

1. Determine why your puppy or older dog is eating poop. It will be caused by an underlying medical condition or a canine behavioral problem.
2. Take your dog to a Veterinarian to rule out medical problems.
3. Give your dog heaps of physical and mental stimulation.
4. Feed 2-3 small, well balanced and nutritious meals to your dog every day.
5. Teach your dog the obedience training command "off" or "away".

pick up the poop and don't leave it for him. So many dogs do this and it is assumed that they do it because they are missing something in their diet. I'm not sure if that is true, but I knew a dog that ate poop no matter what and it was impossible to stop her. Carry a pooper scooper and grab it before your dog does because that's just gross.

ok here is wut u do, u take a shotgun put some shells in there and shoot the dog in the but and face so it can't poop or eat it's poop
