My cat was vomitting like crazy and after I took him to the vet, my vet told me that my cat has feline leukemia.... I don't want to lose my cat ( he has lost a lot of weight this last 2 weeks and is having difficult time breathing) I was research on the web and one of the treatment I saw was using aloe vera. Can anyone tell me can I give him aloe vera juice (from fresh aloe vera) and how much to give? (he is only 1.5 yr old.... he was 4.5kg) he is very weak now, not moving too much and don't want to eat.... I am giving him cat milk (from the bottle using a medine dropper) what other thing I can give me to help him feel better/ strengthen him?

Dear friend. I know this is hard to face but a cat with feline leukemia is not coming back. I tried like crazy to save mine until the very last day of his life. I had two cats (siblings) die of the disease and I know the tendency is to keep on trying to make them come back and almost went out of my mind trying. I tried every single thing I could think of, every food they loved to get them to eat. But they just can't with leukemia. It just overtakes them. Now is the time to just spend loving him and being tender with him and being quiet with him. That's what he needs. I know its hard and you have my sympathy because I have been there more than once. Sometimes its better to just put them down as hard as that is to hear. If I had to do all over again, I would have stopped trying to save them and just spent the time loving them. I hope that you can learn from me.

This cat is contagious to other cats. If you cat goes outside it will infect other cats. Your cat will most likeyl not live much longer if it is 1.5 years old and being bottle fed. The disease is in an advanced stage. Next time I reccomend the vaccine for FELV feline leukemia. Sorry Aloe Vera will do nothing.

I'm sorry, but feline leukemia is almost 100% fatal. Your cat probably caught it as a small kitten or even was born with it, having gotten the virus from his mother via placental circulation. Kittens who catch it that way typically die at age 18 to 24 months.

Aloe vera is not going to do him any good. It is best to put him to sleep when he stops eating.

I am so sorry for you and your cat. I know it's hard, but even if aloe did work it sounds like your kitty is too far gone. I know you don't want to hear this but you need to consider giving your cat some peace. It's terribly hard to lose a beloved pet, but your cat sounds like it is suffering. I'm sorry.
