i tried the salt, the white spots are still visible and it makes the fins look funny
:(
i added the salt
increased the temperature
and it still wont dissapeer
they dont seem affected by it...

theyve finally come out and is slowly being more social :)


im not sure what this is..
but one of them looks as if its trying to swim sideways?
is this bad?

and what can i do to get rid of this?
i dont think its ich since they arnt scratching
unless the swimmming sideways is a way of scratching O_o;

please help!

It's going to take the better part of 10-14 days for this to clear up. That's why when I answered your previous question I suggested a water change and adding in the treatment again if all the spots aren't gone by the time you leave. Have you gotten the salt up to the full amount yet?

If they're swimming sideways and rubbing up against things in the tank, they are scratching.

could be fin rot but sounds like ick . have you tried ick cure it works pretty well . its in a green bottle its also used as a preventative. so it shouldnt hurt any thing. check your amonia levels also.

They have ick, there are a number of commercial products available at any pet store to help with this disease.
