a couple of days ago i went outside and found my dog with his foot extremely swollen and his fur was all black as if stained with coal.I gave him a pill to take away the pain and swelling, but it only worked temporarily.I can't take him to the vet because he is very very hiper and rebellious. I was surprised he even let me take him a bath.Anyways, today i came home from school and was looking for my dog.I turned around to this little closet that we have outside and saw big puddles of blood.I was crying and screaming like crazy.he didnt want to come out of that closet, but when he came out, i saw his foot was all covered in blood. The bleeding stopped after a couple a minutes, but he had already lost a lot of blood. He was also vomiting everything i would give him. after about an hour, i gave him dog food and lots of water and he finally kept it in. About 15 mins. ago, i went outside and he got up and started bleeding again. Im desperate!! what should i do?!?! plz help!!!!!!!!!

You have to take that poor thing to the vet! If there is something outside that hurt or is hurting your dog you need to bring the poor think in the house! His foot needs to get checked out, cleaned up, possibly stiched up and he needs to be on meds to get rid of any infection he already has and/ or to prevent him from getting an infection! I am sorry if this comes across as mean, but if you cant control your dog and especially if you cant get the poor thing to the vet you should have never got a dog to start with and you need to find him a good home! A home where the poor thing will live in the house like all dogs should and get proper care like all dogs should! If your dog needs to go to the vet you have to take him to the vet, and right now he needs a vet!!! I really, really hope your pup gets better soon! Good luck!! : )

Oh and just to let you know, what you are doing right now is against the law! You are neglecting your dog! You NEED to get him to the vet or he will die!!! He should have been at the vet the day this happened! : (

I just read that you are 14 years old. Sweet heart, where are your parents?! Why are they not getting this poor dog to the vet?! You are under 18 that means that legally that dog is your parents responsibility! Do your parents even know?! If your parents arent home you need to call them and tell them whats going on! If they cant get there soon to take the dog to the vet you need to see if a family friend, a friends parent, a neighbor that you and your family know very well or an older brother or sister (that can drive obviously) can get your dog to the vet! It is critical that he see a vet asap! PLEASE talk to your parents!!! Good luck!

Take the dog to the vet.......obvious answer!!!! Vets deal with all kinds of dogs so i'm sure your dog won't be any different than a lot of other dogs. Just call the vet tell them what the problem is and put the dog in a crate in the car and take it in. You can't just leave it bleeding. It could have an infection in its foot that's probably why it is throwing up. the longer you wait the less chance it has.

Hun, this is neglect. As a dog owner it's your responsibility to take your dog to the vet when he needs help. Dogs cannot drive, they cannot talk, and they don't have any money. This dog is completely dependent on you!

If I were you I would take your dog to the vet TODAY before the poor creature dies. I've seen tons of hyper dogs in vets' offices, and that was no problem. There is nothing you can do for him but take him in. He needs to be seen, and I think you know that.

And in the future, please make sure that you're ready and educated before you even think about getting a dog. Try getting a parakeet or a hampster. These are really fun pets and they don't require as much time or money as doggies. Good luck.

Vet--ASAP! If you can't afford a regular vet, though most good vets will work with you on emergency situations, take her to the SPCA clinic. They will treat her, and work with you on paying off the bill. My recommendation would be to get her spayed, since this does not sound like a good sign, and two litters is enough. By the way, just like women, they shouldn't be bred more than once a year, regardless of how often they come into season. Pregnancy takes a lot out of them. Actually, every two years is a better figure. Plus, she deserves the opportunity just to be a dog. Don't you think?

If it's a lot of blood and you are not exaggerating, call 911 or look online or in the phone book for an animal emergency transport. In several cities that I have lived in (in the U.S.) these services have been available. I don't know where you live nor how old you are. Are you alone? Have any family or neighbors to call or help you? The police or local fire dept. may be able to assist you if it is a real emergency. Call NOW if it is. I would if it were my dog, he's my baby.

ETA: wrap a towel around his foot and hold it with a lot of pressure to try to control the bleeding some.

Ur dog needs midical attention now it sounds like a gushing infected vain or a cutt (gash) but i dont blame you now because u where at school but if the dog dies it will be Ur fault and if any one reports u to the ASPCA you could get in serious trouble like a huge fine or jail so go to the vet now or watch Ur dog die Ur choice don't wait any longer to see if he or she will live with out medical attention because the swelling is an infection and if he does live now the infection will kill him later so go get off the f*********in computer and go

Get him to the vet right now don't wait run hopefully it is not too late already,

a vet is used to handling all different personality of dogs including aggressive dogs yours in nothing he has not seen before,

Not getting your dog veterinary care can result in animal abuse and neglect charges brought against you

You need to get him to a Vet immediately! Or a pet emergency clinic. If he is vomit ting blood just take him and go. If he is cut, try to wrap the cut with a towel to stop the bleeding and go. Don't feed him anything until after he is seen by the vet. JUST GO!

Wow, if the vet is out of the question.. Quite the ridiculous reason... Hyper and rebellious?? Anyhow, if you can't go to the vet, you should get yourself a shovel and start digging a nice big hole.. By the time you are done, the dog will be dead.. If you work it right you could even force him to walk into his own grave..

Don't get another dog.

You need to take it to the vet now because I am studding about animals and even though that it may be hard to get him there but they will give a shoot so they can work on him without him be awake and hyper. So please do your dog a favor and take him to a vet so he wont suffer to death!!!!
