Within five minutes, I need good fish that are compatible with each other, will stay with a pleco, and fit in 5 gallon tank.

My 18 month old chihuahua got up this morning with swelling on his neck. It spread up to his eyes with no difficulty swallowing, eating or change in personality. He doesn't seem to be in any distress. My husband gave him Benadryl and the swelling subsided for the most part. About 6-8 hours after the initial dose of medicine, the swelling is now localized to his forehead (he looks like a unicorn) and a little bit under his neck. It is all soft tissue swelling.

There has been no change in his daily routine. He's not running a temperature. There does appear to be a little redness under his fur in that area, but he seems asymptomatic except for the swelling and some minor redness.

Any idea what it is or what causes it?

HI, everyone. My cats have roundworms in their body and i took them to the local veterinarian for giving them two shots and some medicines. after they applied the medicine, it seemed get better. but after a period of time, i discovered that there were some little things on the floor. It seems like sasames but i think those are the eggs of the roundworms.( not sure). i think those are comes out from their anus. what can i do now?

We adopted a kitten from someone who had an accidental litter. It has been about a month and we now find that a friend of ours that adopted a kitten from the same litter is thinking about getting rid of hers. If we take in the other kitten from the same litter, will there be problems with our current kitten? They are the exact same age.

but I know absolutely nothing about fish. I've had a few fish here and there throughout my childhood life, but I want an actual tank. Not something too big, under 20 gallons. Can anyone direct me in the right direction as to what kind of fish I should get, what kind of tank, the food I'll need, how to feed it, and any good pet stores. I know of petco and petland discount, but I want to get fish that aren't going to croak after the second week.

my dog has been yelping and crying randomly over the past 2 days. although this morning i heard my 2 dogs playing and then my dog starting crying and yelping for about 3 mintues and now he wont go up stairs or jump up to get food or anything. i have been trying to figure out what s wrong with him but i cant figure it out! we have anothr puppy and she is quite rough with him so i know it is a possibility that she could have bit him or something and my mum said my dog was playing with the ball and kept ramming into chairs so it could just be a bruise? there are no vet near me open today so i cant take him!! what should i do? is he sick?! he is a cavalier king charles spaniel and is 4 yrs old. thanks!

My rat sneezes but doesnt have any other issues. He seems to sneeze more when i hold him than when he is in his cage. He acts perfectly normal and eats/drinks like its his job. I held him up to my ear to listen to his breathing and i cant hear anything other than a heart beat and his teeth. Could it be his bedding? I am using aspen bedding and try to keep it clean. Any help would be wonderful.

My puppy is 9 months old and everytime she jumps on us we tell her OFF, we then turn around and ignore her but she refuses to mind. This has become very stressful for all of us, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get her to mind?

There is a junco nest in my backyard and she has 2 beautiful babies and 1 stray egg that fell out of the nest. I dont know if it is fertile or not but since the mother was nowhere near it and it was out of the nes I put it in my duck incubator with no duck eggs in it. Considering it is fertile what temperatures will it need to properly hatch. Please do not tell me I made a bad choice because what help does that do because theres no hope of putting it back. Thank you.

in my dogs akc papers there is some white shepherd in his bloodlines on his mothers side. and now white shepherds are a sepperate breed. it doesn't make sense to me if that is true then how can he be a pure bred dog? how ever on his fathers side the bloodlines are awsome there are some national champions.

My 3 female Guppies had 10 babies a while back. The first fry were a group of 4, and are about (maybe) half their full grown size and are starting to get yellow on their tails. Little while later a group of 6 fry came and at the moment they are about a 3rd the size of the older fry.

1.) How long does it take for Guppies (male and female) to physically and sexually mature?
2.) What is the dominant gene in guppies; Red, Blue, Orange, or Yellow (in order)? Spots or No Spots?
3.) How long will it take for my Guppies to show their true colors?
4.) If my fry start their colors off at yellow will they end at yellow, or could they most likely change more (like to Blue or Red)?
5.) And when do fry start getting they colors? My younger fry, (only a cm long) got some black on their bodies, while my older ones, (2 1/2 cm long) only now started getting some yellow

I'd get a Guppy-keeping hand book, but it's checked out of my Public library at the moment.

I had my doberman's ears cropped at 12wks. The vet did not want to post the ears after initial surgery for fear of infection, so we wated approx. 2 wks for ears to heal and have stitches removed. I feel this had a negative impact on progress... its been nearly 3 months since the surgery and the ears still will not stand correctly. The pup will be 6 months on 20 June. Is this too late to expect the ears to stand correctly or is this avg.? I've had other owners tell me i may have to do a second crop... is this true?

my cat for the past two days has been making weird noises and mewing. she also rubs her head against things and rolls around on her back. when she lays on her tummy, her behind is elevated, like when dogs want to play. her ears are warm and her nose is dry. she threw up once that i know of. i gave her some yogurt just incase if her stomach is hurting. what is wrong with her and what should i do???? thanks!!
