WHAT i'M SURE YOU ARE SEEING IS TAPE WORM THIS IS NEEDS TO BE TREATED SEPERATELY. YOU NEED TO GET MEDS FORM THE VET. iN TEH MEANTIME YOU NEED TO TREAT THE CATS AND HOME FOR FLEAS AS THAT IS WHAT CAUSES TAPEWORM.THE RULE OF THUMB IS EVERY FLEA ON THE ANIMAL THERE IS 100IN TEH HOUSE.
tHE CATS HAVE TO HAVE FLEAS TO HAVE TAPEWORM.

Eggs of the roundworms would most likely not just come out on their own. They are usually found in the feces. The things you found could just be completely unrelated to your cats roundworms, but if you keep finding them, you could put them in a container and visit your vet to ask if they know what it is.

The sesame seed looking things are tapeworm segments. They are different than roundworms.

Call your vet & ask them if the meds they gave you were for tapes or rounds, since they need different medication for those.

If they didn't do a fecal analysis they should have. That checks and verifies which parasites they have and what medication to properly prescribe.

Tapeworms are also transmitted by swallowing fleas. Have them treated for fleas too, if you haven't.

well the treatment for the worms is an ongoing thing.. you already did one round with the medicines your vet prescribed, you probably still have a source for worms to get on the cat.. so take him back to the vet and have him go through another round of dewormer. and check where he maybe getting in contact with feces of other animals to be getting worms from.

I think u should go back to the vet and make sure they don't charge u because your cat might still have some of it and it could hurt your cat if it is not cured becauseit could come back to your cat!!!!
