We adopted a kitten from someone who had an accidental litter. It has been about a month and we now find that a friend of ours that adopted a kitten from the same litter is thinking about getting rid of hers. If we take in the other kitten from the same litter, will there be problems with our current kitten? They are the exact same age.

Probably not if it's only been a month.Especially since they are still young.Re-introduce them and find out before you make any commitment.

If they are male and female they will need to be desexed (all cats should be anyway) before a preganancy occurs. You should call a vet and ask what the right age is to do this. If they remember each other they will have a great time together. f they don't your kitten may feel like the other kitten is intruding on it's territory. It shouldn't be too bad as kittens but you may need to have a spare bowl and bed for the other kitten if they don't get along.

Since they are still young I don't think there will be a problem reintroducing them to one another. If they were older you might have a problem, but from my past experiences (introducing 3 kittens from 3 separate litters) they should get along.

There shouldn't be much trouble, but keep an eye on them when you put them together. They will probably be thrilled for the playmate. Two are always better than one when it comes to kittens. They keep each other company and occupied. Its not any more care than for one. Go for it I don't think you'll regret it.

MORE THAN LIKELY EVERTHING SHOULD BE OK.
WOULD YOUR FRIEND LET YOU TAKE YOUR KITTEN THERE TO SEE HOW THEY GET ALONG??
THEY WILL TRY TO SET UP WHO'S THE BOSS BUT THAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU GOT THEM AT TEH SAME TIME.
ALSO WHEN YOU BRING THE NEW KITTEN HOME PUT YOUR ORIGINAL KITTEN IN A CRATE OR BATHROOM, LET TEH NEW ONE ROAM AROUND TEH HOUSE TO GET THE SENT IN TEH HOUSE HTEN PUT NEW KITTY AWAY AND LET YOUR OTHER ONE OUT USUALLY SINCE THE SCENT IS IN THE HOUSE IT'S OK.
gOOD LUCK I SAY IF YOU CAN HANDLE TWO GO FOR IT

chances are they do not remember each other and putting any cats/kittens together, they will take some time to get to know each other...other than that they should get along just fine.
