For those of you who have had a St.Bernard or have one ?

I heard there life expectancy is about 8-10 years, does anybody have one that is older ?

mine is going on 8 and so far (except for becoming a VERY picky eater) she is doing fine. She sleeps just as much as ever and still loves to romp and roll in the yard. good luck

11 is the max I've seen. Unfortunately, the bigger the dog, the shorter the life span. I have heard of some that made it to 18, but that was just something I read.

Mine was 18 years old before he died!
