can i keep a dwarf gourami in a 2 and 1/2 gallon bowl without a heater and pump?

I heard before that you need some sort of license in order to own a cat, or dog. Is it true? If it is, what do you have to do?

And is it ILLEGAL to let a cat wonder around the neighbourhood by itself without a leash...

Do cats even need a leash?????

I just bought 3 amazon sword plants today for my 38 gallon tank.
I was wondering if i should take them out of their pots or leave them inside them, because i just saw one of my plants uproot themselves from the pot. But I took the time to take it back down and cover the roots with my gravel.

I was also wondering how long till they recover from their trip and when will they start growng.

My bearded dragon has something hanging from his butt, i believe it is his penis. Is there anything i can do without taking him to the vet, he will not eat and barley open his eyes he isnt just laying there when i spray him with water he lifts up he isnt weak. please if anyone can help i would be happy to email a picture if needed. I just want to know if he needs to be put down. thanks for the help!

I have 2 Italian Greyhounds who are puppy pad trained to use the bathroom in a certain area of the house. I only had to show my older dog (6 months) the area once or twice and she is fine with the process, but my younger one (4 months old) is really having a tough time with the concept. Any hints for housetraining using puppy pads?

I have heard 8 weeks, but other places say 7 weeks and some say 10-12 weeks. I was leaning more towards the 10-12 weeks. What is your opinion?

I fill my bird’s food dishes up to the top every morning. I have two African Grey Parrots. They pick at it and eat on it all day. They throw half of it out. My question is: Do you leave food out for parrots all day? Or do you pick the food up and give it to them on a schedule? If so, how often should I feed them? They are sooooooo messy with their food. They are on a pellet diet and that is what I have trouble with. I also switch out fruits and veggies and I will make them eggs, pasta, rice, etc. but they gobble that stuff up. It is the pellet food they like to play with and make a mess out of.

I have a leparod geckos and this is her third batch of eggs and i guess she thought she had run out of room to lay eggs and its in their water bowl...it smells HORRIBLE and i was just wanting to know if the eggs would be any good? Shes a first time mother so shes a little new at things and so am i but if the eggs wont hatch then im just going to flush the sick mess. pLEase HELP!

My dog died 5 days ago. My parents buried her when she died. I wanted to cremate her, but they didn’t do it for some reason. I was just wondering: can I dig her up and cremate her still? I am not sure if cremation companies accept decomposed bodies…but at the same time, I really do not want to dig her up and see her rotting body, if you know what I mean. I am quite sure that after 5 days, her body is decomposing and a not so pleasant smell is being produced. Right? I am ignorant when it comes to this (will do research), maybe someone can help me out here. I am so angry that this animal that I loved and respected so much is underground and rotting but I think I may just have to deal with it and move along. I think it may be too late to cremate her, but I really do not know for sure. What do you think? Also, if anyone knows, what will happen to her body in, say, a month? Will she be completely decomposed in a year? Thank you all.

I just got a new kitten last night. She dranked water & ate a little before going to sleep. In the middle of the night, I woke up to hear her "gagging" but nothing came out. So far today almost 20 hours since I've had her, she won't eat (the same food she have been eating prior) or drink water. She would smell it but not eat it. Also, she keep having the "gagging" about every hour or so. I know when she will start gagging as she will meow a couple of times & then the gagging will start right after. It will go on for about 10 seconds & then she will stop, but nothing comes out. Then she goes back to being normal. Does anyone know whats wrong? The pet store which I got it from (I got her for free so maybe something were wrong w/ the kittens?) said the kittens had just gotten their first shots, flea bath and deworming. Will that affect her behavior?

Also, I have an older cat, she gags but she usually throws up food or hairballs but I am not familiar with kittens! Any help will be great

okay so i have two pitbull puppies they both are very vibrant healthy(bright-eye bushy tails)the male however has thrown up and passed bloody stool yesterday his stool was dark and watery yesterday. today it was light and more solid i recently lost a male to parvo but the disease is in my backyard he did go in my backyard for about two minutes(ididn't know the gate was open)i immeadeatly grabbed him and brought him to the front yard.now i don't know if he has it or not because he only had two symptoms.i can't take him to the vet because my parents are going through a financial situation but in 2 weeks they are going to get their scond set of shots i hope he can last that long (because i love both of my puppies.)

I have a Corn snake, age and sex unknown (it was a stray if you can believe that!) but it is an adult, about 4 1/2 feet long, and I've had it for about 3 years now. It has always been quite healthy and friendly, but last week I noticed an odd behavior. The snake was moving in fast circles on top of itself and pulsing. It stopped after an hour or so and hasn't done it since or acted weird in any other ways, so I assumed there was nothing wrong with it, but I am curious if anyone knows what was going on?

I just started a tropical fish tank (10 gal.) yesterday. I put 2 Platys in there and now the water is cloudy. I went to an aquarium store and the salesman there gave me the right filter, heater, ect. and I also put some gravel and a fish ornament in there and I rinsed all of these before I put them in. Plus I added a tablet to help balance the PH of the water. Yesterday the water was clear and looked fine and today it is getting cloudy. Any suggestions?
