It sounds like she is in heat. Is she between 4 and 7 months old and not spayed?

This is what my cat book says.....A female in heat becomes very vocal, issuing throaty sounds. She rubs up against everyone and everything, rolling on the floor and then crouching with her rear end in the air. An unspayed female is very nervous, and, at times, might become so-concerned with her sexual frustration that she may even forget her litter training. Females who go through repeated heat periods, without their eggs being fertilized, can develop cystic ovaries. Spaying will make her a better, more affectionate pet who is no longer plagued by repeated frustration. Spaying also eliminates the chance of uterine diseases such as pyometra, and the chance of developing breast tumors is reduced. The time to spay Your cat is usually between six to seven months of age, after her first heat period.
When my female went into heat it almost drove me crazy, it almost looked like she was trying to give birth the way she kept bearing down and yowling.
Call around to get a good price. There is a place called Kittico that is in several States. Just type in low cost spay clinic on the web search.
Good Luck....
p.s. the book also states that giving a cat a tablespoon of yogurt is good treat for them, it is also used as an antibiotic, if plain yogurt is used.

If she is not spayed sounds like she is in heat! If you don't want kittens good luck! If you keep her inside for approx 3wks, she will come into heat every couple weeks I've heard. She will drive you nuts and so will the male cats outside spraying around your house. Get her checked by a vet but better get her spayed when he says.

is she in heat? when cats r in heat they roll around alot and rub up against things alot and make some disgusting annoying noises. she could just have a cold. also check for fleas. as for the throw up....i dont know if its just because she is sick or just natural. i have a cat that throws up at least once a week, i took her to vet when she had fleas and asked if there was something wron with her throwing up so much and she said no.,.....some cats just do that and its something we learn to adjust to. i did switch her cat food to kitty food and she seems to digest it a lil better.

Not as exclusive diet, but once in a
while, without harming their health.
A casual glance at our fridge shows: cooked shrimp, baked chicken, ham,
bacon, sausage, canned tuna, salmon. Oh, and I just no eggs All of this is non-vegetable. Can cats eat it safely?
BTW, what makes canned cat food stink so badly? :-)

It really sounds like she is in heat...the noise making , roillin on her back .. and stickin her backend in the air are all signs of her wanting to mate.. Im not sure about the throwing up but if it was only once.. Id say dont worry about it!

HOw old is your cat? This behaviour sounds like she is on call (on heat). Even if she is desexed sometimes a microscopic amount of ovarian tissue can be left behind and its enough to create hormones to make her come into heat.
There is hormone injections & implants that can be used to prevent this behaviour - consult your vet.

Most cats can't eat our dairy food so you may be making her worse. i have never heard of dairy food to fix un upset stomach, i have always been told to avoid it. The best thing to do is to call the vet and ask someone there for their advice. it will only cost you a phone call and you will be getting the correct answer.

It sounds an awful lot like heat. Keep her away from male cats and it will go away eventually.
Don't worry too much about the vomiting. Perfectly healthy cats vomit way more than you expect.

Your little girl is in heat. The noises she she makes are calls to help attract a mate. Don,t let her outdoors unless you want a litter of kittens. PLEASE have her spayed. She and you will be happier, not to mention healthier. Unspayed cats are more susceptable to certain kinds of cancer.
