She is healthy and has grown to about 10" in diameter.
I assume she must be lonely and I wanted to get her a companion.
I applied at a tortise rescue/adoption place but there has been no response.(over a month)
What types of tortoise are compatable and where to get them?
The ones at the pet store are tiny.
I am in Chatsworth Ca. 91311

We are in the early stages of making plans to adopt a dog. We are aware that adopting means we will most likely get a mixed breed but we have heard conflicting info on which dogs are compatible with young children.

The children are old enough to respect a dog but just the same we want a dog that will play but not too rough.

I'm just looking for some ideas so when it is time to start looking we know which dogs to rule out.

My dog is about 6 or 7 yrs old. He hurt his leg about a week ago and it wasn't too bad but then he chased something last night. This morning, his leg was hurting so much that he stayed outside in the same place for a long time. We gave him some fat from ham and aspirin. It seems like it isn't as bad as before because he was walking around a little bit. Is there something wrong if he is now panting a lot?

Ever since I cleaned my betta fishes water out, he doesn't eat a lot anymore. He used to have a plant in there, but I replaced it with a tiny castle. Is he going to die soon? He has not eaten much before.

I have a Boston Terrier that was given to me, We took her to the vet and had a clean bill of health but at that time the vet couldn't tell if she was going out of heat or comeing in, but a few days ago she started bleeding so I bought a doggie diaper for her because she stays in the house, I want to get her spayed but I am not sure if its good to do during her heat cycle.
