even though your mixed pup mates with a full blooded pit there is still 1/8 of the boxer blood in the pups---you will have to look up how many litters down the line will strain the boxer out of the pups---until you get the boxer strained out the pups wont be able to be registered I do know that much! hope this helps, it was a little confusing lol good luck!

No they are not pure. The dad was a mutt. All the pups at mutts, curs, pet quality, or what ever.

If the mother doesn't have Pedigree Papers she may be pet quality too. AKC papers doesn't mean that a dog is a quality dog. Many back yard breeders breed in ignorance so the results are in faults & predisposure for both mental &/or physical issues.

Every breed has negative traits that they are predisposed for but due to specific genetic pooling these can be breed out of them. Through selective breeding & generations of proven genetics a dog becomes pure. The standards are ridige so very few dogs are quality dogs.

I have a beautiful German Shepherd but she is just pet quality. She has many faults that would disqualify her from being a quality dog. She's too tall, doesn't have the angulation in her hips (no dysplaysia). Her ears don't stand all the time. She is a beautiful German Shepherd but she just doesn't measure up. Yes, she came from a back yard breeder & she was a rescue. She was spayed at 4 months of age.

Hope I was able to shed some insight.

No. A mutt is a cross of two breeds or ANY DESCENDENT of a mixed breed dog, so not matter how many generations later, the pups produced will still be mutts because the pitbull/box is a mixed breed dog.

First of all I have to say that no dog could ever be a pure bred "pit bull" because that isnt a breed. "Pit bull" is a term used to group three breeds... American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers... To answer your question, no, the new pups wont be full "pit bull"... they will still have boxer in them. They would be cute puppies though! lol! : )

A full-blood breed would indicate to me that every dog in that blood line has been the same breed.
