I do the same thing mikentammy76 does, I take an old comforter or blanket that has seen better days and fold it. Then I put a dog cover over it (I bought that at Sam's and you can use them in the car too so hair doesn't get on the seats) and it makes a softer place than the tile. If the dog gets too hot then the tile is right there, if they want the bed that's there too, and best of all you can throw the whole thing in the washer.

Make your own. If you have a small dog, get an inexpensive bed pillow or use an old one. Then get 1 yard of fleece, (I found Walmart has the best ones for very little money anywhere from $4.97 per yard & up), fold it in half & all around the edge (about 4" or so) use scissors or pinking shears & cut a fringe. Take out the corner & tie the rest of the pieces in knots all the way around (with the pillow inside). You'll have an inexpensive dog bed that will match your decor. I've adjusted the size for large dogs by using a mattress pad (the egg crate foam type twin size) cut in half. Then use 2 yards of fleece & do the same thing. I made about 2 dozen at Christmas time & every dog I gave it to loved it. Plus they're washable & don't shred when they "fluff" it.

Good luck finding a cheap AND durable bed. My dog has been through 6 dog beds, from cheap ones to high dollar ones (basically, they were all high-dollar to me since he's a giant dog).
I thought that I had found a solution. I found a dog bed that was guaranteed, or your money back, not to get chewed up. I spent nearly $200.00 for a dog bed that was larger than a toddler bed, and wouldn't you know it, my dog had a hole in it within 10-15 minutes!
Well, I got my money back, but I figured out that my dog just likes to chew up dog beds, he doesn't destroy the furniture, the pillows on the couch or on my bed, so he now has a thick blanket on the floor, he moves it around and flops down on it.
Good luck :)

Cheap and durable don't usually go hand in hand when speaking about quality of anything!
I suggest you give the dog some old comforters to lay on instead of a bed. You can buy then dirt cheap at second hand stores , thrift shops, good will stores.
No sense in the punishing the dog by not giving him anything to lay on. He will have no clue why he doesn't get a bed. Just switch to cheap blankets.

It would be cruel to leave him without a bed. The only reason he's destructive is because YOU haven't trained him to do otherwise. Kuranda is a dog brand that you can buy online or at a pet boutique. Their beds are chewproof, durable, and come in many sizes and colors to suit your needs. They're not cheap, but they last forever. They are also guaraanteed chewproof for one year.

If you're looking for something more affordable, Dura-Beds are a great option. The fabric is virtually waterproof and makes it easy to clean on the surface. Use a stiff brush, wet rag, vacuum cleaner, or soap up and spray off with a garden hose!Chew resistant, extreme water resistance, flea, pest, UV, stain, mildew, digging, and claw resistant too!
They start at $35.00 and up.

I don't your breed size, but we had 2 large basset hounds. The best value dog beds I found was at "Sam's Club". We needed the large beds & compared $15 - $20 we paid at "Sam's" to nearby stores $50 - $75. We went through 3 or 4 beds from "Sam's" at a price we would've only gotten one bed somewhere else. There was no difference in quality either.

All i will say for Carefresh is that's incredibly adsorbent. It would not take lots of it to pass an prolonged way, that's packed very tightly interior the programs and once you're taking it out it does blow up plenty. that's extra high priced them the pine bedding, even however, the convenience that it could provide the guinea pig is sooooo properly worth it. It does have an scent, i don't discover it offensive yet my granddaughter does. As i stated what i care approximately is the convenience that it supplies the guinea pig, the scent would not pass directly to the guinea pig.

The sizes of the dog beds differ and for each and every dog breed, there are different sizes of dog beds. Even dog mattresses can be purchased online and they too come in many designs and colors. While purchasing a dog mattress, make sure that it should be soft. A hard dog mattress is not good for your dog.

If a large breed you need to provide cushioning so as not to cause medical problems such as an hygroma http://www.marvistavet.org/html/elbow_hygroma.html
So you can either go with the cheapest option like getting old comforters from a goodwill or salvation army store, so it does not matter if the chew up or you buy super good beds that are hard to destroy like a kuranda bed http://www.kuranda.com/main/index.asp
Avoid ones that state chew resistant they are tougher than regular bed but still can be destroyed by aggressive chewers

There are many pet beds available. My question is why haven't you trained your dog to not chew on its bed? A trained dog is a better and safer pet.
