Im tired of the dumb comments. lol
My mice have been fighting, they are biological brother and they were born and raised together. they have just recently started fighting. Some people told me this is a form of play and is totally harmless if i dont notice any physical damage.(and i dont), But im just worried to put them back in the cage together. They have gotten along fine. And now i seperated them they miss each other and seem depressed. Im scared to put them back together cause what if this is not play, what if they will hurt each other when im not looking. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Because i really dont want to seperate my boys.

I am trying to get her on a schedule but I need to know how much to feed her I know 3 times a day right? And does anyone know the average weight a 7 week old Jack russels suppose to weigh?!Oh yeah also can anyone tell me how I can make her feel more comfortable shes has Kennel Cough shes on Medication now from the Vet but I feel so bad beacause shes sick and coughing all the time. I know she just has to fight it out but does anyone one know how I can make it "easier" on her. I feel so bad that cough seems like it would hurt bad. Please Help

I currently have a puppy who is a GSD and a Pit Bull mix. I adopted him when he was 8 weeks old at my local humane society. He was neuteured when I adopted him.

I began to socialize my pup around 12 weeks by taking him to doggy parks and he has done well. He plays well with other dogs and has shown no aggression to other dogs.

However, recently, he has begun to show aggression by growling, baring his teeth and barking. Specifically, he will show aggression when he is under my futon or my bed. When I try to reach under and grab him to take him out he growls and barks and attempts to bite me. He has also tried to bite me when I was teaching him to sit. It almost seems as if he is showing that he doesn't want to listen. I have gone to the extent of using the PetSafe shock collars and spanking him with newspapers but that hasn't show any progress since he continues to show aggression.

Does anyone know what to do--I've heard puppy obedeince, but I doubt they will help.

Goldfish HELP! :)

This might sound silly and funny at the same time, but there is one little thing that's confusing the living-daylights out of us... Our Goldfish has changed colors!

My Husband and I have 40-gallon aquarium that contains 7 Goldfish, 1 Gourami, 2 Danios and 1 Betta (believe it or not... yes, we do have Male "KGB-Undercover-Agent" Betta inside the fish-tank). When we got them (without Betta), we had only one deep-grey-green colored Goldfish and the rest were orange-with-white colors Goldfish. Starting about 2 or 3 weeks ago, the darker colored Goldfish started changing its color to orange with flakes of white. As of right now, the fish is totally orange only the spine-fin, the tail and a little of the side-fins are still the present color. The question(s) of the day: Why did it do that?! Is the Goldfish confused as to which side to join? Is it sick? Or, is it a naturally occuring phenomenon in the wild?

Please help to explain this situation. Thank you so much!

Hello, I've been trying to grow brine shrimp for the past few months, but just for the fun of it. I'm wondering if anyone has ever been able to raise brine shrimp just on yeast? I've done a lot of research on the habitats of brine shrimp and i have even recorded and used different mixtures of salts and baking soda, but yet... i can never get them to live too long. I give them a lot of light and i use distilled water, but something is still missing. I have once grown brine shrimp to adulthood but they weren't very healthy... and they looked like they could die off any minute. (this culture was provided with oxygen too) Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how to raise brine shrimp and have them reproduce to create a continuous cycle? I would greatly apreciate your help. Thnx

I have been listening to my neighbor's dogs bark for 2 hours straight now and I am getting desperate. Has anyone tried these products that emit a high pitched sound when the dogs bark? I have heard mixed reviews and they are expensive, so I thought I'd get a couple of opinions/recommendations before I spend $50.

Also - for the record - I am a dog LOVER. I have a (very well behaved and QUIET) German Shepard. I like my neighbors, so I don't want to do anything like call the cops or start an argument over this. I just want a little peace and quiet. I bought my house because of the back yard, and ever since these dogs moved in next door, neither me or my dog have been able to enjoy it.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Many of you have been helping me with my cat, Smokey. For those of you who haven't answered anything about this, here is what happened. My cat is only two years old. Yesterday, I came home from the doctor and I looked at my cat's ear. He had a cut on it. So I called my cousin who is a vet and she said to put some antibiotics on it. So I did. This morning, it kinda looked better. Only for one thing. Well last night there was a small amount of blood on his ear and it's gone which is good but the area where his cut is or was, looks kinda like orange, not the normal color pink. Not red like swollen. Just orange. It weird! Does anyone know if that's normal or a sign that it's healing? PLZ HELP SMOKEY!!! <33333

I took a sample of his poop to the vet today. I was sure it would test positive for coccidiosis, but it was negative. Vet said to keep an eye on him over the weekend and bring him back in if it continues. His poops are ofen very soft to runny, but occasionally more solid like they should be. Once there was quite a bit of blood, once a bit of blood and some slimey mucousy stuff, and a 3rd time just a little bit of mucous with a spot of blood.

He's still happy, playful, and eating/drinking well, although appetite might be a little less than usual. Wondering if anyone else has had a puppy with this problem. He has been dewormed and is on track w/ he vaccinations. He does have a herniated umbelical could that be a factor in any way? He also has a level III/VI heart murmur, but doubt that would be a factor to the bloody poop. I feed him one of the best, premium foods that are available.

Please serious, knowledgeable answers only ... thanks.

Our 2 year old Maltese seems to have behavioral problems.

When she wants to play she can be very aggressive. If we are walking around she will literally bite at our ankles trying to be playful. But it is more aggressive than playful from my standpoint. We don't let her play around small children.

If someone leaves the common area where we have her penned she will attack the person and bark incessantly. I think this is some sort of separation anxiety. Same thing happens when we leave the house. (Note: we don't let her in the bedrooms because of allergies).

She is very uncomfortable around strangers. She'll often wet herself out of excitement.

Lately she'll get into strange moods where she will attack you if you try to hold her (maybe a doctor did something to her?)

One big thing I'm starting to do is walk her. But we're limited in that capacity because she gets these odd asthma attacks (the doctor says her trachea contracts). Would training help or be a waste of money?

We have a dog already, but i really want to add a new addition to the house. I found the cutest little chihuahua up for adoption and i've been trying to convince my parents, but they keep saying that they don't want another dog and that one is enough. And when i ask them to elaborate they just get aggravated and then i back off because i don't want to get them mad (sure-fire way to NOT get the dog) anyway does anyone have any advice! It would be greatly appreciated!! I am a 14 year old, straight-A student! And i've asked them if it's a responsibility issue and they said no. So, all i know is that one is enough and that they don't want another one. (informative, no?)

Ugggh! I have 4 beautiful Goldfish but I have gotten really fed up taking care of them. I clean there water every week and I also clean there filter every couple of days. I would like them to die because when they do I would be able to use the tank for something else. My dad gave me the "helpful" suggestion of just flushing them down the toilet. Well I am an animal freak and would never want to kill and animal. Is there any way that you can slowly let goldfish die without causing pain or feeling guilty the rest of your life?

Rae

Also if anyone lives in or near Collingwood than I would be happy to give you my fish for free.

My dog is very tired lately, she 10 years old [60 in dog years] and shes not active at all. A new puppy is not an option. Shes barely eating and she losing alot of weight. And yes. We have been to the vet numerous times. She is being medicated for a urinary track infection [which she also had when we first adopted her] but she seems to be very depressed. Shes not craving attention from me, if anything shes avoiding it. Is it possible she feels that i love her too much and she wants me to back off or something.

Answers from people with experience in this situation please.
