I don't know if it's a boy or a girl, so can you suggest some boy/girl names for a small dog like a shih tzu?

I just got a puppy (cockerspaniel Lab X) about 2 weeks ago. We called Tilly but some over names we were looking at were- Java, Bo, Star, Bubble. Have a look on a dog naming site.

that is a hard one. usually when you see a dog a name just pops in your head. My sister suggests the name Stuffy though. Kinda cute. Or bear.

That is because the two of you haven't met yet! Once you get a clue to your dog's personality, then name something that sounds right. Practice with a few names and see how the dog reacts too. Sometimes just saying the name out loud while looking at your pup helps you find the one the sounds good.

I had a Shih Tzu a few years ago and I named it Turd. He had rather eat his mess than the best food I could buy. He was very smart other than that. Someone stole him out of our yard when he was two. Good luck, they are great dogs.

Lol. I did name my Shi Tzu Scooter. But thats because I liked it. Shi Tzus are spunky, hyper dogs. Get a peppy name, one thats fits the personality of the dog. My sis named her Pomeranian Sprite, cuz he loves drinking her Sprite. Use your imagination!
