The booming number of new members since yestersay?

Many tried to discourage puppies for presents, but it appears it was all in vain. So many are asking about BASIC CARE.

Shall we keep an eye out for those asking if anyone wants a dog in the next couple months?

Last year for my friends birthday I bought her a small(2.5 gallon) tank with a lit cover, filter, and heater ith a few guppys(we decided she wanted this ahead of time and she was willing ot take the resposibility) unfoutunetly, neither of us knew at that time that you have to cycle the tank, the guppys died. I was thinking as a late christmas gift I would help her set up her tank again today and have her cycle it and in a few weeks buy her a betta

The only problem is, she is not the good at keeping hte tank clean, but I am willing ot help her casue I spend the night at her house usually at least once a week. On the rare occasion that I dont, would the betta be okay without its tank being cleaned for 2 weeks? Or do you have any other recommendations(like some kind of shrimp?)

Ok, so, I just found out yesterday that we are going to be giving my black lab dog back to it's original breeder because our dog won't hunt, and that's mainly what we use her for, and so yeah, I'm having a really hard time with it, because over the past year we have had it I have become extremely attached. But anyway we are going to be getting a new dog right away after we give the dog we have now back, so does anyone know of any Labrador Retriever breeders in Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, or Wisconsin???

the placement for my new pet will be on an entertainment unit next to the window and my tv, but it is also opposite where my cat sleeps on my bed. i dont want to wake up to a dead bird! and how do i quickly train my parakeet to fly on my finger and stuff? and any other cool tricks i could teach it?

I was give a quaker gray parrot for Christmas, and I have been told that I now I cannot burn candles: because the bird will die. Does anyone know if this is true? I love my new pet, and I don't want anything to happen to him.

My cat loves my computer.. Whenever I am on it, she is right there sitting on the desk trying to catch the cursor. She is always in my face. Dont get me wrong, I love her sooo much but she is always by my side trying to get my attention and talking non-stop. She doesnt do this to anyone else but me. I have a 8 week old puppy and he has ONLY eaten dry food except for he went over to my mother in laws house and she fed him a thing of wet food and now the poor guy has diareah and I feel so bad for him. He still gos when I take him outside but sometimes he just cant make it or make it to the piddle pad, is there anything you can do except just wait to ease a puppy stomach ?

Last night we were laying down watching TV and all of a sudden we heard our dog whine and we figured he was whining because we weren't pay much attention to him but he kept on for about 10 seconds straight. I called for him and he was limping. So I got him down from the bed and made him walk and his back leg was sort of "dead" and he didn't move it...just dragged it but didnt' whine or acted as if it hurt when we inspected it. He kept on playing and within 5 minutes he was back to walking normal. I am thinking maybe it was a cramp? Is that possible? I will tell the vet on his next check up but is it something maybe I should take more seriously? He's a 4 lbs, 9 month old- Chihuahua Mix.

I have an aqua 1 pump and filter, but the pet store I used has closed and I cant get the same sponges for the filter, can I use any other type of material for the filter and if so what can you suggest.
