Keep in mind that a lot of these new members are kids on Christmas vacation.
Also, remember that it isn't the people who were given the dogs who are to blame. You'll have a lot of people who received a dog they didn't ask for or particularly want, and now they're doing their best to take care of it.

Unfortunately people do not understand or realize the responsibility of owning a pet. And unfortunately for the pet get in over their heads.
They need to watch Animal Planet and see the neglect of pets and atrocities committed by pet owners before thinking of getting a pet. Then they need to do research on what pet best fits their accomodations and lifestyles.

Yes, right now there are is a boon of questions about puppies that are too young and owners that don't know the first thing about taking care of them.......and like St Lady said..in several months there will be a TON of questions about dogs in heat and breeding.
Can't wait!!

yep... the selfishness of some people astounds me. I don't even want to imagine the number of untrained, unsocialized puppies that will end up euthanized in shelters because the people didn't thoroughly research the breed in time to realize that its not the right dog for them. Or they don't know how to train it. Or they don't have time for it. Or it chews. Or its not house trained, ect. ect.

They are the ones that will be asking about breeding in 5-6 months, as well as answering others questions. Because, after somehow managing to raise a pup for that long without inadvertently killing it, they will think they are experts.

Its ok if people want pups for presents but they need to realise there is more to dogs than being cute pups. It is disgraceful that pups our being sold before their proper age to leave their mum. And to ask about the welfare of pups on here instead of how the pup was reared is daft. We all look after our pets differently.COME ON PEOPLE use your common sense you do your reserch BEFORE you buy the pup NOT AFTER!!

I Didn't notice they were new but I did notice more new puppy questions.
You didn't offend me but the fact that breeders are calling their prices adoption fees now is seriously bothering me. Unless an animal is spayed and neutered when you get it it is not a rescue!!! Any reputable rescue spay and neuters every age!!!
