I have two lab mixes and I'm getting hair everyone and on everything. I've bought suppliments, but my dogs wont eat them. Besides, for their weight it'd take like 8 pills a day. I couldn't afford them!

I'm combing them all the time, I vacuum daily, and I still have hair everywhere. I was doing weekly baths, but I was told that can make it worse. Is that so?

Any tips on how to deal with this. I love my dogs, but I'm getting really tired of hair everywhere!

My local tap water is very hard. It limes up my tank and totally messes with the Ph. I've tried a salt pouch that kinda works but then I can't have snails (I'm guessing thats why they die). Peat helps too. But nothing really seems to fix it.

I have a 30g tank set up now. I've been buying 10g of water a month from Wal-Mart (5g "spring" water 5g "distilled" water) for my water changes and usually keep a gallon of spring water nearby for top-offs.

I've been doing this for a while now so I'd expect that all the original tap water would be gone. But my Ph is still off and when I try to adjust it w/ chemicals I get bad algea outbreaks (I've read that's because the hard water makes it so the Ph chemicals dont work... and if you keep adding more, you get bad algea).

I want to upgrade to a 100g tank but I want to get this water problem sorted out first.

HELP?

She's a really sweet puggle," pug and begale mix," who is very playfull. We have pets named Cloe, Annie, and Jamie. She was given to me on Xmas and we've thought of naming her Addie. She looks a lot like this:

He is terrified of the vet office and I can't imagine saying goodbye to him there. I can't find a vet to come to my home either. I want to load him with pain killers when the time comes so he will just go to sleep but someone said that won't work. Please Help with suggestions :(

My male cat constantly pees on my beanbag chair. Everyday without fail, I walk into my apartment and find the chair filled with cat pee. I make sure his litter is cleaned everyday and have tried different measurements of punishment from light smacks on his behind, sticking his face in it, and even sticking his face in it then setting him under the sink faucet. I feel horrible when I carry out any of these punishments, but I don't know how else to deter him and these methods aren't helping. He's a 2 year old Maincoon who's been fixed. He shares the apartment with a sister from the same litter. Besides the beanbag chair, he pees nowhere else except for his litter box. He has, however, been territorial in the past including peeing on me and my bed when I have guests spend the night. Any ideas?

even if you talk to her when she is eating she growls really badly. she has always been a hungry dog but i just thought this was cause she had come from a big litter of pups. if you dare to go near her when she is eating she growls and looks like she would bite and as i have 3 young children this is quite worrying. also she likes to try and get food from beches or the bin and if you try to retrieve any food of her that she has already taken i believe she would go for you. help us please

This anxiety came on suddenly.
There is no apparent reason to me for his sudden panting, pacing etc.
He used to enjoy the ride.

Lately, my 5-year-old cat has been waking me up in the middle of the night. This is nothing new--he is a spoiled boy and knows he will get attention, but lately it seems all he wants is for someone to keep him company when he eats. After he's done, he goes back to sleep. I'm thinking of bringing his food dish into the bedroom at night so he dosn't have to eat alone while I'm asleep.

I had a baby pool with water still in it out in my yard. I saw the following type of bird standing on the edge of the pool and I would like to know if this was an owl, hawk, etc.
The bird was very large, approx 2 feet long (wings not spread) an tan chest with white speckles. The bird's beak was hooked and yellow. The feet were huge. Three toes on each I believe. I tried to get a picture of it with my cell, but the bird flew high up into a tree. I have a wooded back yard, but live in a suburban area in VA.
This bird was absolutely breath taking. Thanks for any info. I have searched the web but found nothing. I have not seen the bird again either.

I take riding lessons. For Christmas, I got a riding helmet. Itis pink and shiny. The tack shop worker said the horses would be fine with the color. But, when i tried it out, the horse spooked, 4 times! There are mirrors in the arena and I think that she may have seen a glare from my helmet. Was it that or do you think it was something else? Also, do you think the tack shop would let me return it if that's the cause? I've already worn it but it costed 45 bucks and I might not be able to use it again.

I've been asking my parents for a puppy that will stay small forever. My parents said no. But I am mad because I told them I would pay for all of the dog and supplies. We already have a dog but its big and is not allowed anywhere but outside and I want my own dog. Am I being Stubborn?
