She must still be a kitten or young cat and wants lots of attention and want to play all the time.
Won't worry after she gets older she will do like all cats do: She will put you on ignore unless she wants something. Or she is in the mood to be petted.

Absolutely normal.
I didn't get a plasma monitor because my cat likes to sit on the monitor and look down at the screen. When I'm playing games she sometimes swats at the things moving on the screen.
She is my little shadow and is even a little jealous of my spouse. When I go to the kitchen to get myself something, kitty stays where she is, but if spouse asks for a soda, kitty follows me and yells that she wants something too. LOL.
My kitty is also a talker. Actually a yeller - but only with me. Not spouse.
It's just her nature. She will probably outgrow it as she finds other interesting things to do and see.

My daughter's cat is like this. Even though she is now older, the cat was hand raised by my daughter. Obviously, the cat must love you alot! I suggest getting a special area around your computer for your cat.

try dangling a string with the left hand (if you're a rightie) while you play on the internet. that should distract her enough for you to get on the computer. also try letting her sit on your lap and pet her while you're on the internet.
she just wants some attention.

Aww! Yes, she does consider you her person. And some cats will try to catch cursors. We used to have a cat who would try to catch Mario in the Super-Mario games.
You may have to teach her that there are times when you simply don't want her in your lap- and that will be hard.
Good luck!

Yes, this is normal. My cat likes to sit as close to the keyboard as possible. Mainly she just wants to be near you.

just make sure that you give her enough attention and when she starts annoying you simply pick her up and put her somewhere else where something else will interest her. my kitty is very interested in helping me brush my teeth. when it gets too bad i pick her up and put her on the floor. she forgets what she was doing and runs to attack a sock. as long as she does not feel punished when you relocate her nothing bad can come of it:)
