as of today, hes fine, no vomitting, no other issues... are we in the clear?

gift wrapped under the tree, tree is up on a table so the dog cant reach.... he reached and helped himself to dads present!!

you never know but how long ago was it if it was 2-3 days ago your not clear..........yet!
but if it was 5-7 days ago and he/or/she is not vomiting,watery poop,or not eating no more chocolates he or she is really good
1 more thing how did the poor littlle beagle get the chocolates?

I'd still keep an eye on him for the next 2 days. He may have trouble digesting it and/or have an allergic reaction. My dogs have gotten into chocolate before, but not a whole box. If he shows any signs of getting sick I'd take him to the vet. If not, be glad that he is ok and keep chocolate out of his reach next time =).

My husband's dog (back when he was a kid) ate a box of chocolates as well, and the dog turned out ok. I think that if your dog has no symptoms so far, he should be ok. Maybe just call a local vet just for advice to be sure, then you don't have to worry. But it sounds like he will be fine. My cat ate tons of tape before, isn't it amazing what they will do to get us all worried?? :) Good luck and hope he is ok.

I dont understand what you may supply them yet im confident they are fantastic. My basset hound has eaten a lot of chocolate (on twist of destiny, for instance he once ate a barrel of chocolate lined pretzels, an finished oreo field... when we were lengthy gone. and he replaced into fantastic.) you need to carry him to the vet basically in case. and at the same time as they devour grass its because there abdomen is disillusioned and eating grass may help it.

The beagle needs to lose weight. As for the chocolate- well, you may have gotten lucky this time. But I wouldn't bet on it happening again.

chocolate can kill some dogs if large amounts are consumed. if he is acting fine...he will probably be ok..just keep an eye on him for a few days...call the vet if anything changes

Keep the dog well hydrated! Watch him for a week, you are going to have to watch his or her stools for a bit. I hope you dog is fine.

If it was milk chocolate your dogs is probably going to be fine.it does not really have much "real" chocolate in it. .If it was expensive dark chocolate call the vet
