That's normal...
All puppies do that when they are young, eventually they stop doing it, but for now, what worked for me, is if you turn on a radio not too loud, but loud enough so it can here it, it should settle down, quite a bit.
The reason this works is because puppies love to here the sound of people's voices. It's like a security blanket for them, it makes them a lot more calm and relaxed.
Hope I helped!

My first do (Shih-Tzu) cried ALL the time, my mom resorted to lullabies (which didn't work lol) The dog is probably not used to being away from his mother I've read somewhere that if you put an alarm clock that ticks near them it reminds them of their mother's heart beat? When my aunt's dog was a puppy and he cried, she'd put a sheet over the cage and he'd stop. But my dachshund hardly ever cried when she was a puppy. You don't have to bathe them everyday, i guess once a week or once every two weeks. Yes, feed them a small meal in the morning, leave a bit of kibble in a bowl for him during the day, and feed him dinner. The kibble bag should have the amount you should feed him on it. Eventually you'll only have to feed him once a day with a bigger meal (normally dinner and just give him treats in the morning) For dogs with smushed in faces its best to give them a hamster feeder, and for dogs with long snouts you could leave a bowl. But since maltipoo's are inbetween I'd get a hamster feeder (you can buy them at practically any pet store) Hope this helps :)

As most people said she is probably missing her mom and litter. Speaking from experience, allowing her to sleep with you may help with the crying but it may also make crate training a nightmare. In addition to that, once you allow her on your bed you should be aware that she will always get on your bed and probably the rest of your furniture. As suggested before, it is a terrific idea to play some quiet music and I have also found if you have a old t-shirt you can put your scent on it by wearing it for a few hours or sleep in it and then put it in her kennel so that she can have the comfort of your scent while she is sleeping. As her new owner you are also taking on the role of "Mother" which is who puppies sleep with at that age. Give it a try... I think you will find that it reduces her crying and helps her to relax. Good Luck and enjoy your new puppy!! They make such good friends.

This is very normal in little puppies. It may be missing mom. You can try getting clock and placing it in her bed, because the sound of the ticking, sounds like the mom's heartbeat. You can try letting the pup fall asleep in your arms, and once sleeping, then place her in her bed, with the clock ticking and put a little blanket over her. If you don't already, maybe you can place her little bed on the floor ,close to you, in your bedroom, and she might feel a little more secure, if she's with you and not in a room all by herself. She's still adjusting to her new environment. She just needs a little time to get used to everything.

The poor thing may be either hungry or cold. Check if she is getting enough food.
Also, make sure her bed is warm enough.
Another problem may be loneliness. Then, I can only recommend this, although other people will certainly say the opposite: put her in your own bed, close to your body. It has worked every time in my house.
Don't forget she is just a puppy, quite recently weaned. She may be missing her mom sorely and it is for you to play that role.
When she grows up and feels at ease in your home, she will find her own sleeping place.

Just got her for Christmas did you? Learn something about puppies and caring for them. Do some research anywhere but YA. Have you made an appointment for the vet yet?
It's a puppy, it misses it's litter. Relax and give it time to adjust! Could you imagine being plucked from your family and being thrown into a world of creatures that don't understand you?
