My Rottweiler is 8 months old. He has ALWAYS had a VERY loose stool. The vet gave him Albon, which got rid of the worms, but the loose stool has still continued. I have been back to the vet so much, they just keep my file out. The regular vet had to leave on vacation and the loose stool got worse about 1 week ago. The vet that was substituting gave Spike some Flagyl, but I do not think it has helped. What could be wrong with him?

Well, I weigh about 115 pounds and I'm 5'6.
I am interested in buying a horse but I am not postive about what breed and height is best for me. I would like a horse that is trained in the discipline of jumping:)
Your input would be very helpful! Thanks.

My 1 year old doggy had his booster injection on the 18th dec 06. It seems that ever since he had it, he has done nothing but sneeze, make funny noises through his nose and make a coughing, grunting noise through his mouth/throat. Could this be an adverse reaction to the booster or is this something else we should seek medical advice about? He has also already had his kennel cough vaccine a couple of months ago. Thankyou. Donna Smith.

Whether you have a puppy, old dog, kitten, old cat, rabbit, fish, horse, guinea pigs, or hamsters.. whatever pet you've chosen as your companion.. if they're limping, having a hard time breathing, have a gross protruding lump from their skin, not eating/drinking, have diarrhea, a weird rash, smell funny, or doing things that are very unlike their personality.. PLEASE, for the love of God, do not get on Yahoo! Answers and ask people on the INTERNET how to fix your pets problem. CALL. A. FREAKING. VETERINARIAN. For christs sake, think if you were in their position.. would you take advice from a handful of idiots on a computer or trust the opinion of your doctor??? And even if there happens to be one soul on here that knows what they're talking about.. you're still going to get bombarded with answers from people who have no clue about animals that could lead you to confusion and improper treatment.

I'm really not trying to be offensive, but if you care about your pet.. call your vet.

OK, I've lost family close members (even a parent), but for whatever reason the recent loss of my cat of 13 years really really really makes me want to believe in an afterlife. He did have health issues, but was on medicine and seemed ok. Animals are innocent - and he was an exceptionally cool cat, very sociable and seemed to have a sense of humor (if that's possible). He was the runt of the litter and really sick when I got him as a kitten. His litter mates were running around like little crazed demons and he was smaller and sickly and just sat there. I couldn't stand to just leave him. He turned out to be the best companion. And let's be honest, when you take on a cat you don't know if you're going to get a cool member of the household or a creature that you feed and hides under your bed for 15 to 20 years. Since we don't have kids - I guess the pets are the closest thing. I'm crushed. Plus our other cat (who's about 16 years old) and we took in 3 years has been crying and crying...

I have a 1.5 year old dog...he's a shih tzu/yorkie mix about 12 lbs. He was prefect until around his first birthday, he started growling when picked up or when we try to give him a bath. He usually doesn't bite but he has nipped at my husband and I a couple times when he gets really mad. I'm not real sure how to handle this problem and I've gotten several books but nothing has seemed to help much. I asked the vet on his last visit and he said if we neuter him it would help but I was just wondering if anyone may have any other helpful tips to turn in into a sweet dog?

I live in a rural area where he will not have an opportunity to impregnate another dog, and I don't want to affect his maturation as much as possible.

The puppy was a Chihuahua X Shih Tzu Hybrids. She inherited mostly everything including Chihuahua’s temperament except the ear is Shih Tzu’s.She is now doing crate training; so I had 2 let it out at home for some time in the day. But when I let her out, she keeps running like a wild horse or sniffing the floor, but I can’t get her attention to me. She was so busy that sometimes even I hold a treat in my hand, she just simply don’t care when I call her name (Not Always). Another problem with her is she biting the leash that I hooked 2 the collar and sometimes trying 2 take off her collar by shaking or scratching. She looks like she dislike the leash and the collar but she still need 2 put it on! I heard of others dog walk their master, but in my case, she is biting and pulling the lead backwards from the direction I am facing, trying 2 stop me from going. I also tried 2 train him 2 sit, but after a few times, she sat down without my commend and waiting for me 2 give her treat (dry food).

They are both between 5-9 pounds or so and the chocolate bars are those thin cadbury milk chocolate bars that are 100 calories. They also have little mints in it. They got into the christmas presents and ate about 2 of them. How much chocolate will hurt a pomeranian dog, I want to know if they will be ok. P.S. all the vets are closed and I live in a small town so thats not an option at the moment

Alright I have a new Crown Tail betta, he's a very active little guy. But I'm afriad he might be sick or something, he swims around like mad. This may sound stupid but there is a betta below him could he sense it's there and be stressed out trying to get to it? Or does he miss his old buddies that were in fish bowls next to him at the pet store. Any body who has betta fish with exprience please answer.
