On the news,

A 47 year old man was killed from eating roast pigeon,

He bought the bird from a local breeder but the breeder used speacail vitamines to keep the birds healthy and it got into the mans blood or somthing like that and killed him.

The pigeon breeder was charged, I forget the rest but this is weird.

I give my pigeons vitamines but I never knew they could kill someone O.o .. I think I'll stop giving them that stuff .. or maybe the man was alergic to the vitamines I sure am gona read more about this.

Well serves him right for eating the poor bird :(

Well glad I love pigeons & don't eat them :) because you are what you eat ... like I hate pork because pigs eat there own **** *YUCK*

I Just got my puppy home for the first time and I played with it and showed it around. I placed him in the the crate and he was fine with the door open. It came and went as it pleased. I closed the door and even when I was visible he whined at first and then he started crying really loudly. He slept with me that night and now he will only eat, drink, pee and poop in the crate. He will not sleep and I want to know how to make his transition easier.

I want a BIG, BIG dog.... like Great Dane big, but I can't deal with a dog that needs to be walked 3 times a day, especially living in downtown Lexington in a loft and trying to get my degree. I want a big dog, but not a dog that'll make my neighbors hate me. I was thinking a Vizsla, or a King Charles Spaniel, or a Border Collie. My family's had Brittanys for years, and I want to keep a dog that smart, but not a Brittany. I want a really smart herding or sporting dog. Any ideas?

After I complained about the eviction he told me just to pay another $500. Is this legal. ? Also I was wondering how much damage a pet would have to do for him to keep all my $1000 deposit. The only damage they caused was they ripped the carpet which was old when we moved in and we have been there over 3 years already. Also if he charges me something for the rip in my carpet from the cat can he double charge me for the on my regular deposit?

He's a sweet dog but, he just keeps doing it! First he urinated several times under the living room table. We blocked that area off, and now he did it in the family room, he's good with going outside. But a half an hour later he goes again inside! Puppy pads wont work and he's completly crate trained! How can we stop this? I'm afraid we may be forced to get rid of him if this continues.

I have two german shepherds who are kinda skinny. I want to make sure i am feeding them enough. I am feeding them EACH 2 scoops (3 cups) of "dry" food and 1 can (13.2 oz) of "wet" dog food. Is this enough, how does this vary according to weight and exercise? I would love it if you could give me a web link to visit too.
Thank you and Merry christmas!!

Ok, I just started it so it's not great now but what do you think of it so far? I've added a Bibliography so no information is completley stolen. And I reworded alot of it.
Do you find it informational?
Thanks, and if you have tips please post them here.

I am thinking of purchasing some aquarium sand tomorrow, but I would like to spend the night doing some research on how to maintain, clean and the benefits of aquarium sand. The tank is a 16 gallon freshwater tank with 2 kribensis cichlids and zebra danios. Thanks for the info.

I apologize for going overboard on the exclamation marks, but I wanted to catch someone's attention quickly..

But anyways, my two Pomeranians managed to get around a 4-ounce chocolate pack and eat the whole thing, wrapper and all.

I only realized that they had been snacking on them around a while later, when they had all finished with it. My first Pom is 1 and a half years old, and is 6 and a half pounds - I think that she ate around 2 pieces. My 2nd is 5 months old, and ate around the same, I'm assuming. The latter is only 3 pounds.

At the moment, they're both fine - but I've heard too many scary stories about dogs eating chocolate, so I'm still very worried. I called all of the vets in my neighborhood, and no one has answered so far, and I can't drive myself to one since I'm 12. There's also no adults who can drive me there around at the moment, either.

The type of chocolate was Ferrero Rocher - if that information bit helps any.

But, will they probably be okay? Please help.

I have a friend who has been visiting us regularly and she has a small female terrier mix that she brings with her. Recently my female Cavalier has been peeing on the carpet (usually around the same spot) while the other dog is here. I had her urine analyzed and she does not have a bladder infection. She never goes in the house as we work out of the home and she goes out all day. I think she is trying to communicate her displeasure with the other dog visiting. What can I do to get her to stop?

I've tried researching but I can't seem to find enough info. How long to they live? Do they need anything special? Is it ok if the water temp changes a little w/ the seasons? If not, how do I control the water temp? Thank you!
