I have a friend who has been visiting us regularly and she has a small female terrier mix that she brings with her. Recently my female Cavalier has been peeing on the carpet (usually around the same spot) while the other dog is here. I had her urine analyzed and she does not have a bladder infection. She never goes in the house as we work out of the home and she goes out all day. I think she is trying to communicate her displeasure with the other dog visiting. What can I do to get her to stop?

Your dog is marking it's territory, maybe put it outside if you have a yard and let them play outside under a close watch.or when she starts say, NO! Or if she isn't spaded yet and the other dog is a male, then, well you probably know.

She is submissive peeing. Basically she is recognising that the other dog is dominant by displaying her "scent" strongly for the other dog to check out. The dominant dog always gets to check out the submissive dog first so she's just being particularly submissive.

It's very common and happens all the time. Maybe you can have the meet in the front yard so she can get over her peeing before you bring her in?

I can't believe your vet allowed you to pay for a urine analysis when they should have been able to tell you exactly what that was!!
