They are both MALES, Domesticated birds like this dont care if they are the same sex or not, they mate with who ever they bond with. They dont know the other bird is the same sex, thats why it is so important to have your larger birds DNA vet checked for which sex they really are. Especially if you want a pair and one that will breed to have babies.

They don't lay the eggs instantly. it will take some time before you see the eggs. I would get her a nesting box and separate them. He may kill the egg if he feels threatened.

are they old enough to breed? some of the larger birds are 20 or so before they start breeding, do they have a nestbox? are you sure that you have a pair? have they been surgically sexed?
