4 weeks ago a loose dog chased my horse, she spun round (unbalancing me) then ran off along the road - I came off at speed and landed on my face. I have multiple (healing) facial fractures, plates in my jaw & will need quite a bit of dental treatment. I still feel I want to ride but am not sure how I will feel when it comes to it. I will give it at least another 2 weeks til the fractures have set before I even get to that point - but has anyone else had bad riding accident, did you ever ride again, and if so how did you feel & what helped to overcome any anxiety/fear when you restarted?

When I was 10 years old, I found a injured green Indian parrot near my house, I took it home, somehow convinced my parents to keep the parrot, initially I had to cage him initially, but later he became so friendly that I took him out of cage and kept him open, I use to take him close while sleeping, I use to often take him out in garden, it was a part of our family, sadly one day it flew away when a some outside crow scared him off.
I love macaw, I know they are expensive ones but i don’t know if they are legal in India, does any one in India especially in Mumbai know about it?

We adopted him Nov 29th 06. but all his paper work says is that he's 4months, retriever/lab mix and for coloring - brindle. so if thats all he is where did that brindle come from? my bro says pitbull. Also what about those ears? they don't look pit or lab. My cousin said they looked like a shepherds. So I am thinking maybe hes retriever/lab/pitbull/shep mix.

I am trying to get an idea of his breeds so I can train him the best possible way and maybe get an idea as to what he might be like as he gets older.

He is very laid back. learns fast. is housebroken. doesn't bark. very friendly with people and other pets.

So I am wondering if the breeds i listed seem right on? or if maybe someone thinks something else. .Also if so do you think those breeds mix togther are good? I heard dogs like pits mixed with dogs proven to guarding like sheps are bad? any truth?
Here are a few pics of him.

Hello...
I just got a baby Ball Python, and it wont eat. The Ball Python is about 8" long. I tried giving it a live young adult mouse, and it ignored it. Any ideas on how to feed my baby Ball Python?

Please forgive me for asking, as I know it sounds quite disgusting.

I used to have a dog before she died recently, (she was quite old too) but I believe that dogs can tend to eat grass (on purpose) to make themselves sick. I can't remember the exact reason why they do this, but I'm fairly certain it has something to do with trying to get rid of something which has disagreed with their stomachs.

But in the past, my dog would sometmes, after being sick, eat its own stuff it has brought up, (regardless of whether or not she has been eating grass beforehand) and I'm thinking..... ewww, disgusting!
I guess it's just not something I have experienced before.

I'm just curious though. Why did my dog eat its own vomit? Why did she do that?
At least this gave me an advantage, as it made the floor more easier to clean afterwards.

BUT she has had a discharge went she has tried to poo and it seems to be a clear discharge with a little blood in it as I mentioned she seems to be in good health and apart from the blood I would not have worried any further after the swelling went down, I am thinking she has been bitten by something and wondering if i should be more worried and take her to the vet.

I found a stray cat and cared for it since its mother died(I don't keep it in a cage, I let it go anywhere it wants to go). I went for a vacation for about three days and when i came back the cat started acting wierd. It doesn't want to eat and stops following me. Does anyone know the problem?

Me and my husband have a male pug that is around 3 years old, we are getting readty to get a female who is almost 7. We want one litter out of them that away we have offspring from the male. We dont know if the female is to old to breed though. We dont want them for money, just want to have one pup at least from the male because he is a very well tempered family pet. Also, the female is a fawn and our male is a black pug, will that make any difference at all? If you know the answers or have a good website about it please let me know.

The father is a pure pug dog. The puppy pug im interested in looks like its mother but im scared later on when it grows up can it change and look more like a maltize dog ??? Is it bad to have mixed blood with maltize but its from the mother's mum??? Also is it true pug dogs dont open there mouth and pant with there tounge's out?
