my dad wants to get rid of my dog Sadie. But I want to keep her.
But if he DID get rid of her, what would become of me?
One of my dogs died earlier this year, and she was around before I was born.

We have a golden retriever puppy who is about 3 1/2 months. We are training him to go to the back door when he needs to "potty". He is doing okay I guess. He still has maybe one or two accidents a day. Normally just pee. No biggie. We're getting new carpet in a couple of months. Just wondering if anyone had any tips??

My male cat was acting really funny and I thought since he went outside a lot he might have gotten into a fight. It turned out he had FUS, urethral blockage, renal failure, Azotemia. He was in extreme pain. On my way to the vet with him yesterday, he got away from me and ran down the road and hid in one of the drainage areas in the street. I had to check all of the drainage holes this morning and finally found him too sick to even move. This is what the doctor told me he had and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this horrible disorder?

This is about California legislation being passed to exterminate pit bulls. If it passes in California, it could be on it's way to anywhere. Someone has to try to make a difference...what if it were your pet?

Okay, my question headline is just to get your attention. I know hermit crabs mate. But...I heard some where that they only mate in water. Is this true? Because I just bought my hermit crab that I've had for 2 years a tank buddy...and they're really getting along. I just wondered if it was possible for them to mate in their aquarium. I'm not sure what sex either is...I'm just wondering.

The pet store said what I described which was a white string hanging my silver mollies anus is a worm of some kind. They also said to take the carbon filter out of the tank but leave the unit running but on the instructions for the medicine it says not to do that who is right?

I have two ball pythons, 4 and 5' long. Both used to be really healthy eaters but haven't eaten in about 5 months. They did however eat about 5 med size rats apiece in about 2 months 6 months ago ( I had an over abundance of rats!)
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciatged. They are both still real active and have shed a few times since they last ate, and seem to be healthy, just not eating.

My dad is getting a black Lab puppy tomarrow. We dont know yet if it will be a boy ar a girl dog. My said he will let me name it if its a "ferce" enough name. Or just give me a good creative name. 1. i just purchased a new ball python, and because i haven't been bitten yet, i guess you could say i'm a little fidgety and scared. when i'm handling him, and he slithers away out of my hands, it's sort of intimidating to just pick him back up. would a ball python bite in this sort of situation? if he is trying to slither away and i pick him back up, would this aggravate him or is he just exploring?

2. the first time i'll feed him is in a couple of days. many websites say not to handle the snake for a couple days after feeding him, but to feed him in a separate container such as a tub or a box. how is the snake supposed to stay in that container for a couple of days without the heat lamp, uv lamp, etc.? to move him back to his cage, i will need to handle him.

help would be greatly appreciated.

My Golden Retreiver had puppies 10 days ago. She had 9 puppies, one of them died right away. Last night I was gone for a few hours and when I got home there were only 7 puppies. I looked all over the house, every possible place (even under the fridge & stove) The puppy is nowhere to be found. When I left all of the puppies seemed to be doing fine. If one of them died when I was gone would the mother have eaten the puppy. Keep in mind that the puppies are 10 days old and are a pretty decent size. Thanks for the input...

My puppy is 12 weeks old. I've had him for around 4 weeks, and for those four weeks he's slept in bed with me. I'm trying to crate train him now, but every time I put him in his crate he whines and cries until I get up and let him out. I can't really set a schedule because my work schedule changes from week to week. Any suggestions?

Just recently adopted Ned ( miniture Poodle), he was raised in a puppy mill, and was never potty trained. We have tried multiple things to try and work with him. Puppy pads- will go on them once in a while. Bell- wont even go near it. I will take him out every other hour, he will run and play. Tieing him out on a chain in back yard, sit and cry. Nothing is working, and I really hate to resort to this, but we may have to give him back to the rescue group. Please help!
