Nope, up north we save the lives of all animals over the holiday season; we become peace loving vegetarians for winter. That is why the chickens don't want to leave us so they don't fly south although chickens can fly a bit.

You need help but not with this. When pigs and chickens fly, especially south, the cows get lonely and moosey along also.
That is why there are so many ranches in places like Texas. That leaves northerners up a creek with a fishing pole. Yes, that is why ice fishing is so popular in the north. You should have known that.

Chickens are to heavy and don't have big enough wings to fly. They can do some impresive jumps thought. They can fly very short distance depending on the breed.
As for food, chickens are rasied on chicken farms all over the world. Chickens also do not migrate they do not mind the cold winters.

No because where I live the chickens don't fly that are to be eaten, so it doesn't matter. People eat more hot cooked foods in the winter chicken, pork, or beef.

Is this a joke? Chickens dont migrate, theyre actually quite hearty and can survive winters quite well. And they dont fly either. Maybe you mean geese?

David you're so humorous. One chicken flew south by employing accident this week while it fell off the Tyson truck and landed in my front backyard. i attempted to save it somewhat is existence yet unfortunately it crossed the line. real tale!
