I would also recommend doing a websearch for horse for sale, or, if you're looking for a certain breed, QH for sale or whatever. Often farms and ranches will list their horses for sale on their own site without listing them on a larger site such as those above.

You can probably find horses looking for new homes (and you can post an ad, if you are trying to find a new home for a horse you own), on Petfinder.com and Craigslist.org
