The dog is already ruined, in my opinion, simply because she has an idiot like you for an owner.
DO NOT BREED. The shelters are FILLED with large dogs. You would only be adding to the problem. In fact you are already contributing to it, because now you are going to have a litter of mixed-breed puppies. You need to work your butt off to find good homes for those puppies, you owe it to them. You have made a big mistake and now you need to make things right. Make finding good homes for those pups your first priority.....and THEN get your dog spayed pronto.

No. But if you are so careless as to let the dog next door get to her than you should have her spayed anyway.
A pure breed dog that is not altered should only be in the hands of a responsible, ethical breeder.
German sheperds are known for having a high incidence of hip dysplasia and other joint disorders. If she were a good quality dog she should have her hips screened and OFA certified before even attempting to breed her to a compatable male shepherd.
I am saying this because the that is what a reputable breeder does. So if you don't want to invest the time and money into this things she should be spayed...

First off, does the dog come from a pedigreed show/working breeder? Does your dog have any titles herself? Is she over 2 years old? Has she been OFA'd? PennHip'd? If you answered no to any of these, your dog should be spayed. Regardless of how much you payed for her or if she has papers.
Second, if she is any of the above, she is not ruined for breeding, you just have one undesirable litter to tend to until they are found homes. If she came from a breeder, talk to the breeder, she what he/she thinks should be done.
I would look into supervised potties and outdoor time as long as the neighbor dog is intact (still has testicles), especially if is your dog is a show/working dog. It would be silly to have to keep taking care of undesirable litters every 6 months because she isnt watched.

NO.
It's an old Myth that pedigrees are ruined when they have a litter of mutts.
Some people think that there 'purebred' pups will be deformed etc,
but thats just not true.
I hope you considered having these puppies aborted.
If you act quickly you can have it done at your vets.
But maybe you want to keep them!!!

No, but she should not have been out where he could get to her. If you put them out and there is a male dog anywhere around, they will get to her and it will happen again. She should not be bred until she is at least 2 yrs old. You are obviously not a breeder or you would know better.

Why would you be breeding your GSD? Is she AKC registered? Is she a certified bit** dog? You do not even know how to spell GERMAN SHEPHERD!! Why would you breed?
You have no basis for it.
Spay your dog NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the next door dog was not a purebred GSD then I don't think she'll be a viable b*tch after having a litter of mix breeds. Why wasn't she secured during her heat?

If you can't even keep your dog secure when she is in heat you shouldn't breed. You are obviously completely uninformed. Please there are enough puppies in the world.
