put him outside, maybe he'll run around. Or hire someone to walk your dog for you.

Don't ever use a treadmill without proper supervision. They can be dangerous if not properly used.
Hire a dog walker or pet sitter. Try just walking it at least 5 minutes a day in the Am & Pm, if you can't devote 5 minutes then there is question over why you own a dog. You may find that 5 minutes does you some good as well. You can always extend it by a little longer gradually. I worry that if your always at work this dog is being left alone without excercise or even companionship. Not trying to be rude, but it really is something to think about before you got the dog.
I worry that your dog isn't getting proper socialization either if it hasn't muscle definition it makes me wonder if other areas in it's development are being missed as well. What about training? There are countless questions beyond this one spinning in my head about your dog.
Hire someone. There are people who can come and get your dog the excercise it needs. If you have a yard get a doggy door so your dog can get out and excercise while your at work.

The Dog Whisperer Uses A Tred Mill but he states very strongly that this should in no way be a replacement for walking.
Why not give your dog to the local Animal Charity were they can find it a home that can take the time to exercise it and socialise it well. Sometimes we have to do whats right for the dog and not whats right for us.
Anyway - you could always get up an hour early in the morning to walk the dog. It is an essential part of there natural development.

I have heard of people using treadmills for their dogs and the dogs liking it. If you don't like that idea I would suggest hiring a dog walker or fencing in your yard so the dog can run. Why have a dog you can't do anything with especially a pit bull? I have two and pits need constant attention and exercise they also need to be trained to the tee you shouldn't give them free feeding of food you shouldn't allow them to jump and you should make them wait for everything instead of telling them to stay wait is a better command. Also dogs that don't get to do much turn into problem dogs. I would suggest you look at this site pbrc.net they have training methods and may help you with further issues

Maybe you can take him to "daycare". they have daycare for dogs just like they do for kids. at doggy-daycare the dogs run around and they get a chance to socialize with other dogs. some daycare centers even take the doggies to a park to get exercise as well. you could look into some doggy-daycare centers in your area. he'd like it
