I have a dog that has been pooping seeds. She doesn't only poop the seeds, but they are mixed in with her feces. The seeds are black, and they kind of have the shape of a pumpkin seed. I'm not sure if maybe she is eating the seeds and just not digesting them, or if her body is producing them. If that's the case, what causes it?

My 5yr old German Sheperd has suddenly changed her behavior. She wants to sleep all day, lick her legs & isn't eating throughout the day like she used to. Then in the evening/night hours, she wants to eat, drink & prowl around all night. In & out of my bed, the chair and clicking her nails on the wood floor. If I put up a baby gate to keep her out of my room, she whines at the gate, which is totally out of character for her. She also opened a Christmas present early, which she has never done previous years. It was really cold, and I couldn't take her on a recent outing, when I came home, she pouted, and wouldn't get out of her chair, again, totally out of character for Annie.
I am pondering the issue of depression, b/c September 11th we had to have our Bichon Frise put to sleep do to health issues & old age, 15 yrs old.
She was a bit lethargic right after Georgie was gone, but it became worse, after I took her to the groomer for the first time w/o Georgie.

He will be my sidekick/companion and he will be a hunting dog. In the past I have had a female Chesapeake named Cody and a male Britney Spaniel named Reilly. I am waiting for my new puppy to be born, any day now. He's a "Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever" AKA "Toller" It is a great breed, kind of rare. Any Ideas? Mid-Size Dog about 40 lbs.

We went away for a couple of days (my sister took care of them) and when we came back our newborn baby was dead. It's been a few days and we went to feed them and the smallest adult looked really sick. I stayed up late and tried to make him feel better. We live in a small town and we couldn't find an emergency vet. I made him comfortable and went to bed and in the morning he was dead too. We have two more and I am terrified they will die too. Please help I have read all I could and I don't think we are doing anything wrong. Any ideas?

I have an 11 year old lab who, for the past three nights, has gone to the bathroom (#2) in the house. She hasn't done that since she was a puppy. We recently changed her food, same brand just for senior dogs instead of adult dogs, and we've moved to a new apartment, but in the same building. We're walking her as much as we normally do. Do you think she's mad/upset/nervous because of the changes or could she be sick?

My two dogs got out of the fence on Friday and its now Tuesday and we have not found them. We put up flyers, put an ad in the paper and everything. They are pretty expensive dogs. (we have a purebred boxer and a purebred english bulldog). If you found them would you give them back. and please be honest.

they are diamond back aquatic turtles. they feed in water only. of late too much green fungal /algee growth is there in the terratarium.i have put a 40 watt bulb to keep them warm. without that there is no growth but they feel cold and dont eat properly. the room temp in Jammu(india) is right now 15 degree celsius/60 degree F. what do i do? the algee is also growing on the turtles. (may be they are red eared sliders as they have red dots near their ears space area). i cleaned them today and put them in a dry tub and one has been sleeping soundly since then. what do i do? please guide and help!!! will they need water or do i keep them without it in winters ?

I'm not trying to breed my lab to my bloodhound. In the future I plan on breeding bloodhounds with bloodhounds. I just wanted to know if I could change clubs from CKC to AKC. The breeder that I got my BH from was very professional but I had no idea that CKC was so bad. I just want the best for my dog.

I had already asked this almost exact question, but had found out from someone in my family that he threw up again (mentioned above) today. He is scheduled to go in tomorrow for the procedure. I just want to make sure everything is safe. How/ what would the vet do to check him over beforehand? Also, could it really just be a hairball- even mixed with the other stuff? It's not that I don't trust the vet- I'm just worried. Thank you

My female cat is 11 months old and only weighs 6 lbs 8 onz. I find that she is skinny! She is a mix calico with siamese. She is very long and slim! And, no, she doesn't have worms! Is that too skinny? She doesn't eat that much neither but no, she isn't sick!!

I got my purebred corgi last year. She has just finished her first heat and the vet told me that it would be best to get her pregnant after her second heat. Unfortunately, breeders only allow dogs that are registered. How exactly do I register my dog? I got some info from the pet store but they told me I have to do it online or over the phone. What exactly do I have to do? What do I need to have?
