What do you do with the pups that you know aren't going to be show quality? For example, you can just tell that their coat, or size, or skull shape isn't going to be right.

I have lionhead rabbits and they had babies (im new to this). The babies are 7 weeks old. We are selling them when they are 8 weeks. But anyway we thought she wasnt pregnant we had the due date off by 10 days but she had babies then we put them together before she had the babies and now im not sure if she pregnant because she is grumpy )she was grumpy with her first litter. But it might be because she is tired of her kids. I want to learn how to tell if she is pregnant by the grape in her belly.

I was originaly bred to guard my breeder - A tax collector
I am a first class guard dog
I was once very aggressive but have now been tamed to be a great family pet and excellent guard dog.
I am a breed that is known to still chew around the house even in adult hood.

A friend of mine currently works for a dog groomer. In five years, not a single person has come in requesting a breed-specific cut. Everyone just wants the dog buzzed.

It got me wondering. Of all you folks who have purebred dogs and DO NOT show them, how many of you maintain the cut the dog is "supposed" to have according to AKC?

I've had a lot of cats in my lifetime, but my 3 year old cat is the first one I've had who has bad breath. It's unbearable!

I will be switching cat foods soon. As soon as this bag runs out, no more Whiskas! But, I don't know if that is the problem.

I have seen breath fresheners for dogs, but none for cats.

I am going to mention it to her vet next time I take her in to see if it is feline halitosis. I have heard of people brushing their cats' teeth, but my cat would never, ever let me do that. Is there anything I can do to freshen her breath at home?

I recently had to put my kitten down after she had her ears treated for mites. I was reading up about the symptoms and think she had ivermectin toxicity with the symptoms of "wobbly kitten," dilated pupils, weakness, and incoordination.

I adopted her from an animal shelter. Is it possible that they also gave her some medicine that had ivermectin in it (to treat fleas)? I took her to the vet a week later and she was given topical ivermectin in her ear. Soon after she started showing the symptoms of weakness etc.

I took her to the emergency vet and they thought it was neurological and we decided to put her to sleep. I did some research online today and discovered a few articles about the toxicity.

I'm planning on confronting the vet that gave her the medicine to begin with -- because he really should know what happened to this kitten.

Any advice you can provide would be helpful.

I'd look on dictionary.com, but it won't come up, but.... When a dog is dry heaving, what does that mean, what is it that they're doing? I know it's not a good thing and just the words "dry heaving" sounds like what my husky has been doing every now and then, but I could never figure out what it was called...

I am wondering what kind of bottom feeder would be best for my 55gallon tank. I have in the tank already, 4 electric yellow labs, 2 blue johanni, 2 demasoni, 1 red zebra. I have a whisper 60 cartridge filter as well as a aqua clear 50 filter. I am knew at this and, I am looking for any help that can be passed on. Is there any other type of cichlid that you would add to my tank, I really like the bright coloured cichlids, or would you add more of a certain cichlid that I alredy have. When should I put a piece of romain lettuce into my tank to feed them vegtables, at night before bed or in the morning.

I've read that Min Pins are for experieced dog owners only etc. What about them is so hard to handle? I have one and while she is very hyper, she is not that difficult at all. Anyone else have experience with Min Pins, please share?!

My only problem with mine is that she is terribly terribly greedy. If I am roasting meat in the oven, she will stand in front of the oven crying and whimpering for the meat.

I took my dog out for a walk today and when we came in I noticed blood all over my floor. It has stopped bleeding so badly but still looks dreadfully painful! Part of the toenail is still there. Any ideas on how to permanately stop the bleeding?? Help her out of pain?
