So, what's the problem? That you can hear him doing it and it keeps you awake?

Because there's really nothing wrong with what he's doing, it's good that he's getting it all on of a toy. My friend's male rabbit used to go after her toy breed dog when he had those urges.

You could always move his hutch, or get him something else to play with while you sneak away the offending toy if you must.

You can take the toy away from your rabbit without him getting mad, you just have to pick the right time to do it.

Do not try taking the toy away while your rabbit is trying to hump it. Some rabbits don't take it very well when you try interrupting them mating, which sounds like the case with your rabbit. As with almost any animal, a rabbit will exhibit a different kind of mood/personality when it is mating.

After humping the toy for so long he'll get tired. Once he's tired, pet his head and hold his head down then remove the toy. Then store the toy away where he can't see it.

After you've removed the toy. Get him out of his pen daily and pet him outside of his pen. This will get him calmed and easier to handle and pet. A rabbit's pen is their space/territory, pulling the rabbit out of the pen put them in neutral territory or your territory.

Neutering could possibly help, but it most likely is behavorial or genetic.

Well unfortunately this is a very natural thing annoying but natural. Dogs and rabbits both have a real bad habit about this , and even females in the rabbit and dog species hump like this so there is no easy way to fix it in som of them. If it seems to be really annoying and the rabbit and you share the same sleeping quarters you may have to take the toy away at night or if it gets to annoying you may have to take the toy away for good, im sure that he will be mad for awhile but im also sure that he will get over it sooner or later, good luck

Get him neutered. The poor little boy is frustrated! It'll take 30 - 90 days for the hormones to calm down, and most will stop the humping, spraying, and circling after the hormones calm down.
Be sure you take him to a rabbit savvy vet to do the surgery as not all vets are skilled with rabbits.
Here's some infor on why spay/neuter:

It is natural. All male rabbits may do this but if you want to consider him to stop humping your arms id suggest getting him a female rabbit so he could do his stuff with her, and hey look at the good side you can get them to mate and have babby rabbits. Hope i helped.

Your rabbit will be driven crazy by his hormones until you get him neutered. Make sure you take him to a responsible vet that specializes in small animals/exotics. Believe me, you'll both be happier for it.

Neuter him (and even then now that his hormones have gone off, it might not help--you should have had him neutered before he matured). Yes, a well trained vet will have experience in neutering and spaying rabbits.

my older sister has the same problem with her puppy. but we just sit around and watch, 'cause it's so funny. just do what we do and hopefully sooner or later that rabbit will stop.

neutering him could help but it could just be behavioral. contact a vet that sees rabbits and ask
