I don't think there is a specific breed that bites the most. That all has to do with how they are raised (aka trained). Most people are probably gonna say a big breed like the pit bull or rottie. That is not true. Those are just more heard of bc they cause more damage than a poodle bite. As long as get the dog from a good breeder (they breed for tempermant and quality) and raise it in a loving home, it should be good. Please do not get from a puppy mill or backyard breeder as these people breed for money and nothing else. those dogs may have behavioral problems due to improper breeding and horrible conditions. If you get from a shelter, ask about where they came from . . if they came from a puppy mill, they may need more training as they had a terrible start in life. good luck in your search!

I really don't think any stat's are correct, mostly because if you want you can make the outcome of any stat collection play out the way you want. If you want to prove the small breeds are more likely to bite, you could only interview or research small breed owners/vets/shelters and ask only about small breeds. If you want to prove that only trained guard dogs bite, then you could research only guardian breeds. See where I'm going with this?
Any breed of dog can bite. Any breed can fatally maul a human being as well, not just the typically reported about breeds, such as Pit Bulls and Rottie’s. A Pomeranian killed a six month old baby a few years ago. Any breed of dog can bite.

All dogs will bite, for good or bad reasons. It all depends on their genetics and environment. That is all we are made of. Some people have the need for a dog that bites and some people do not. In my case, my dog would be useless if he did not bite when he needed to or when told to. I expect him to bite, and I treat him differently then a dog that was not trained to do so. I trust more dogs that are PROPERLY trained to bite then ones who have never had any training in that discipline. They are more reliable and more predictable. Again, all dogs will bite regardless of the breed.

It is difficult to tell this by statistics alone, as there are more dogs of some breeds than others. If there were 1,000,000 Golden Retrievers in the country, 5% of which bit someone, and 150 Cane Corsos, 80% of which attacked, there would still be more reported retriever bites.
From my own experience, i've been bitten mostly by Dalmatians, Corgis, Border Collies and terriers (Yorkie and Jack Russell).

Depends on the handler. Some dogs are more calm but will freak if you are too aggressive with them. While other dogs are aggressive if you don't take enough charge. Kind of like kids. One of my four dogs gets harsh treatment when bad (firm correction) while my aussie shepherd gets lighter correction
and sandbaby....why are you getting so offensive? Some people are just afraid of getting bit. People even ask if my pomeranian bites! Sometimes they just wanna pet the dog but would you stick your hand near a dog that bites? Wouldn't you also ask if the dog bites before you pet it? I sure as hell would

You are not going to find any corect info on that. Because only large dogs get reported usually because they do damage. A little bruise or skin tear is not going to be reported. Personally I think pomeranians and poodles are the worst. Only two dogs I have ever been bit by. I have had many dogs big and small. I had 8 inside at one time once. I have a very large home. 3 of them were pits and I never got bit except once by the neighbors poodle that got into my yard. I hate poodles.

Try this site, there are many more.
Interestingly enough...small dogs bite a lot, but a rarely reported because they usually don't rip open skin. If a great dane bites you , you are going in for stiches!

I recently read the Collie is the dog most prone to biting. I believe it was the national geographic in my doctors office. I was surprised.
