please look at this to see which dog fits your life style. once on the web site.push the tabs to the size dog your thinking about.it will tell you everything.too many dogs end up in a pound because people didnt reaserch what breed would be best for them thankyou.

Thanks. Purina used to have a breed finder but it's been down for quite awhile. I also believe that people don't do enough research when thinking about buying a dog. That's why so many people are unhappy and ask questions such as "Why is my Jack Russel so hyper?" or "Why does my Great Dane eat so much?", etc.
I am not looking for a dog, I currently have one and foster several that need homes. Also the only website that I share (on a daily basis) is www.petfinder.com for people that are looking for a pet.
I'll will add this to my favorites though for when people ask the question, "What kind of dog should I get?"

Going to a web site may not be the best way to chose a dog for your lifestyle. Check with breeders of dogs you are interested in.
Go to a vets and discuss with them you family lifestyle. Like do you work all day are there children and the ages. are there alllergies. I don't believe in solisiting web sites. So I would advise everyone. Visit a breeder or vet. And don't purchase one at Christmas time, not fair to the dog during the excitment of the season. do it when the family has had time to think it through.
