is it possible that she wasn't pregnent and was constipated (that causes a swelling the the body) or had dropsy (aslo causes swelling)?
Aside from that, the stress of moving her, may have been what did it. Is you water quality good? Is your tank cycled? (Google Nitrogen Cycle, if you don't know what that means)
Having poor water quality can add to a fish's stress level as well as making them more likely to catch a disease.

It was just her time. She is swimming in heaven now with her babies. Sorry to hear about your fishy.
