I purchased an 11 year old paint broodmare that has only been halter broke, she has never been broke to tie or ride. I have sat on her back, but very carefully as she trys to buck. Her original owners said she has a mean streak, I have seen it a few times, when she was tied. Does any one think she would still be trainable to be a good trail horse? If so any suggestions of a trainer in the mid/north georgia area. All my horses have always already been broke so what would the price range be??

Okay, I have to cats in my house. They're very good at using their litterboxs. Usually. Today I found poop in my room, and I don't know which one did it. But that's not the whole problem. There was white things in the poop. Like little with bugs, but I'm petty sure they weren't moving. Is this normal? I know her pooping in my room isn't normal at all, but I'm wondering if she's just mad or actually sick?

We recently brought home a new cat that insists on peeing on the sofa. I have used the Natures Miracle spray on the sofa to get rid of the smell, but I don't know how to get him to stop. I had heard of Feliway, a plug in that is supposed to stop cats from fighting and spraying. I just didn't know how well it worked. Anyone ever tried it?

I recently adopted a dog from the humane society with only 3 legs, the other was deformed at birth. He is a Yellow Shepard and an absolutely fabulous dog. He gets a little bit too excited sometimes and I have a problem getting him to chill out when I am putting him on his leash, and some other minor obediance issues, such as staying when I say stay and what not. I am doing my best but I would like some pointers on how to best train him. Can anyone help? Oh yeah and he will be getting his bad leg amputated soon and I an nervous about his aftercare, as far as his temperment goes. I need some experienced advice.

I've had a hamster for a few months now and she was fairly young when I bought her.

But the problem is she's always biting the bars on her little habitat. Like for hours sometimes, she'll just chomp away at them and it sounds like morse code. It was cute when I first got her but I just started worrying about her breaking her teeth, then she won't be able to eat.

So, I was wondering if there was anything I could do about getting her to stop or should I get her to stop at all, is it normal? Thanks in advance!

okay, I just read the post about the amonia... but here is the thing, I don't know anything about fish tanks and fishes. I bought my goldfishes last week, and my husband was going to be caring for them... he is out of town, and I need to save them... or I will loose them all. My fish tank is small, with a filter systam and light. From what I understood, I only needed to change the water once a month. Now I am supposed to change the water??? How do I do that? Can I use a cup and get some of the water out and just pour some more water in... I am so dumb. I really know nothing about fish... and the worst is that I bought the fish for my 4 year-old girl, and I already had to lie yesterday to her when I found one of the fish dead. I told her that I took it to the vet and that in couple of days her fish would be back... now I have a fish that cannot swing properly and is curved, bent from the suckin filter he got stuck... I feel hopeless... I don't know what to do... I am panicking here!

This is funny. I named my kitty "Kimchi" and the other day I JUST fed him and he hopped on to the dinner table and started dinning in the rice bowl. Does he really think he's Korean? (just kidding). Why is he eating plain rice? Do they need carb or something? Maybe I should start adding rice to his wet food? He seem to really enjoy it too!

Anyone else seen their kitty eat bread, rice, wheat?

My puppiy has an red swollen bubble protruding from the lower inner core of his eye. Should I be worried or will the sweling go down on it's own. He is a very healthy puppy otherwise.

I asked '' How do I get dog urine out of the carpet ? She peed in the same place several times. The answer I got was this:

She pees in that same place because of the odor. To remove the odor, mix 12 oz. hydrogen peroxide, 1-1/2 teaspons baking soda, 1 teaspoon of liquid dish detergent. Mix well and saturate the stain and let sit until it dries. Make sure you pour enough to saturate down to the padding. Do not scrub! The liquid should start fizzing and bubbling (the combination creates oxygen) and it will lift the odor and stain from all the way down to the padding! If she has been using this same spot a very long time, it might require two applications.

I did as she instructed. It worked for a week or two, but my dog peed in the same spot again. I think the urine soaked thru the carpet to the wood floor. I do believe the remedy worked. But I think she smells it because it went to the wood floor.

.How do I fix this?

Does anyone have a trick or something we can purchase somewhere that can protect our new grass from our puppy's pee? I heard that if you water the grass REALLY frequently or if you put apple juice in your dog's water it will neutralize the acid in the urine that causes the grass to die. Anyone have a tried and true suggestion to help?!

My dog is about 6 or 9 or something and I only started looking after him because he's my Nanna's but she had never even taken him for a walk once. He goes balistic when I pick up the lead he runs around jumping on everyone and he chairs. He did a backflip one time haha. But yeah I would have like to have taught him stuff like sit and roll over but the only thing he knows is his name.

I have an EBT who's nearly two, he is a nutter in the car, i also have an Akita who is nearly nine years old and he's no problem, we've taken the Akita to Cornwall in the car and he was brilliant, i can't even get to take them both down the river without the little fella going mental. I've tried a special spray from the vets, that made him worse, i've tried calming pills (I actually overdosed him by accident) that didn't work, any ideas please. Even when i get them both to the river the little one cries constantly, does that mean he doesn't like it there??
