Yes, your female can by spayed while in heat, however, your vet may have an extra charge for in-heat spays, it's a little more work and anesthesia time, but just as safe as any other spay surgery. Ask your vet for an estimate for both in and out of heat procedures.
Congrats on making the decision to have her spayed, I have seen too many female dogs and cats, both young and old with uterine pyometra and very, very sick, that were not spayed. This is just one of the diseases that un-spayed/un-neutered pets can get.
Good luck!

Yes, a dog or a cat can be spayed when they are in heat, but the veterinarian will probably charge extra.
Spaying a dog while she is in heat is not an ideal situation. However, when a dog is in heat she must be watched when she is outside and preferably walked on a leash. If left unattended it is likely that she could encounter a male dog and become pregnant.

Many vets will fix a dog in heat. Many will also fix a dog who is recently pregnant. However some won't, so best bet is to ask the vet.

Yes she can be but it's a lot riskier because her uterus is engorged with blood right now. The vet will also charge you more because of the risk. It's better to wait till she comes out and take her in 1-2 weeks after.

Technically they can be spayed when it heat. The clinics do charge more, because there is increased risk with the surgery when they are in heat. The estrogen levels can cause platelets (which are important for clotting) to become less effective, so the risk of your dog bleeding in increased. Although the risk is low, it is safer to do the surgery after she is out of heat.

your dog can be fixed when she isin heat but you will have to pay a higher price for them to fix her in her cycle. i would wait til she comes out because then you won't be paying that much. the reason why they charge so much when they are in heat is because everything is enlarged and that they have to be careful when they make the cut to remove everything. just wait til she is done and then go ahead and get her done. good luck

I'm not too sure, but I think you can. Just go to the vet and ask them to get her fixed, let them know that she's in heat, too. I hate talking about going to the vet about it, because people are always saying, "Ask your vet, ask your vet." It's so stupid.
