i recently adopted a doxcin puppy- hes a mini daschound. His color is very rare. Does anyone own a doxin can tell me a little bit more about them. I heard there more needy and want a lot of attention is this true? as the days go by i see he doesnt like staying alone for more then 30 min.

I just got two hermit crabs form the beach about 4 months ago. i take very good care of them. But i came home today and one of my crabs looked dead. It smelled dead too. I picked him up and when i did i could feel that he was loose in his shell but he was not moving. And i could take the tip of my finger and pull him out alittle bit and hes never done that. But when i put him in about an inch of water, after 10 seconds he started to move and come out to breath. so he is alive, but he still has a bad fishy smell. I dont know what is wrong with him. My other one moves, and eats just fine. Ive looked on just about every site to find help but nothing has gave me an answer except for molting. But he only signs he has is notmoving much.
Can someone that knows alot about this please help me? It will be VERY much appreciated!

I let my rabbit out to run around today and I left the room. When I came back in not even 2 mintues later, I saw that he had gotten ahold of some chocolate and had eaten most of it...What is going to happen to him? Will he be ok?

I have treated my tropical fish with interpet white spot treatment as i noticed my clown loach had the disease i have followed the instructions in the book which says give first measured dose and then re treat four days later i have done this but it doesn't seem to have worked and the treatment instructions don't mention what to do if it fails the first time so any advise is apreciated

i don't want to take the puppy to the spca because more than likely it will be put to sleep but i don't really want a dog and i am not in the mood to take care of a dog for the next ten years. also what do i feed it i gave it some dog food but it through it up like five minutes later and ate the throw up

My husband and I need to write a letter to our apartment building so we can be granted permission to have a cat. I want to include the fact that this is not a kitten, and has been already neutered, litter box trained and scratch post trained.

I am transferring my current fish out of my little 12 gallon planted bowfront, and I'd like some suggestions on a new fish, or group of fish to add. I'd like something a little more unique/fun and/or more difficult to keep, since I already have more common communities in larger aquariums. I know fish, so I'm not looking for the typical beginner responses (tetras, platies, mollies, etc.), but instead something I might not have thought of. And keep in mind, it's only a 12 gallon so I don't have much space to work with.
